It's mostly girls at Fall Out Boy concerts who are petrified if a pit opens up and ask the guy they're with to try to stop it but every time I've seem them I've opened up the pit with my friends, especially during Thriller!
Just my opinion but I respect this man because I am a fan of the band. Chops and all, sometimes it's about being part of the band. Effective playing was enough. He showed so much passion. And however much I don't agree with SOOO many things he did in the video, he was SOOO steady with the guys. Huge fan of Vic Firth. Glad to know that Andy is one of their featured artists.
I wish they could of done a different song for this video, I like this song and all don't get me wrong. But this song in particular doesn't really show anything intricate and exciting.

Pacoch Pacoch Kai Schneider It sounds like that because ther is EQ and a High Pass filter of sorts going on in the Audio. They do that so the recording for the video doesn't get distorted or blown out. Most normal ppl can't tell the difference. But i can hear that it's missing the high end and the drums aren't blown out, so that means they EQd the crap out of everything so u can hear vocals and drums too. They did some wacky recording scheme here.
Not to argue here but those are triggers. My band had the chance to play with them when they came to my area (different stage) but I was able to check out the kit during sound check and they are ddrum triggers not lights

Lorenz Müller Actually it is a pretty good mix. It manages to be clear enough and still deliver the typical base-havy live sound! For a fact I know that the sound was taken directy out of the mixer, so the people had the exact same sound as you have, but your is more limited by your headphones.
