I totally relate to trying really hard to reject feminity when I was younger. Now I feel foolish because I realized adorable accessories like ruffles and bows are cute as heck but as i grow up they are not considered mature and adult enough for me to wear without people judging anymore!
Yess it sucks that so many of us felt that way 😒 but im glad a lot of women are now embracing that femininity more! And i feel like you should still wear the ruffles and bows, I’ve seen a lot of women pull it off! Plus who cares what others think 😌 or maybe you can incorporate things like ruffles/bows into your more “grown up” outfits haha
People always made me feel bad about liking hyper femininity because they were all like “you don’t need to wear that skirt to be pretty” “you don’t need to wear heels!” “You can wear something other then clothing that follows gender norms” “you don’t need to follow gender norms” and these comments make me feel so bad because I like skirts, I like heals, I like pink, I like hyper femininity ok! I don’t want to be like u! I want to be hyper feminine! When I was younger I wore dresses but girls stopped wearing dresses so I started wearing shirts and pants to be like them and said I hated dresses but I can’t anymore! They are so pretty and I love it
Don't care about the others. We should dress for ourselfs in the first place and not for the others! I can't imagine being happy if I never did fashion stuff for myself but for the others... 😧
I’m obsessed with western clothing not JUST because I’m American Indian 🌺 but I also really love hyper feminine themes, I can definitely have my feminine looks with a more grounding effect ❤ you can have both! 🎉for the winnnn
1. Gasp! Hello to you too, thx for jumpscare warning 😮 2. I love your sweater! It’s the color and style I’ve been looking for; where did you get it 🥺 3. Great job bringing more attention to the different types of hyper feminine fashions! I hope the younger generation gets to explore/appreciate femininity early on. I remember when I was younger, there was the push to be “not like other girls”. Ugh, misogyny 😒 It’s really refreshing to see older ppl also embrace femininity and heal their inner child. I ADORE seeing ppl wear such soft/cute styles!
I got youuu!! Wear cute Mary Janes, loafers, ballet flats or even sneakers with ribbons as shoelaces can work. Accessories such as bows, hair clips, headbands, butterfly clips and even jewelry! Pearl necklace, dainty necklaces..etc can work
My opinion on the lack of diversity of different aesthetics: In my OPINION since it's a fashion style that anyone can join in, the lack of diversity isn't from the style itself. Rather it comes from poc or diff body types just not participating in it. Which isn't the styles fault. You can't blame an aesthetic for not being inclusive because it's not like it can control who joins. It's a style. The people are the gatekeepers. Blame them.
I think some people are just judged harder for wearing the same thing. That might be the reason some women stay away from certain styles ! Like clean girl aesthetic is a black/Latina thing but it’s been stolen & most pages only show white women in that type of style.
Exactly. If you want to wear a style, just wear it. It's not that hard and no amount of whining on the internet will create representation if people don't create it themselves.

Ya that's my prob too. I enjoy girly things now but I'm afraid I'm too old for them and look like weird. I'm 22
@@user-wc6bl4zs4i girl you’re just 22
Yeah, I feel like I’m at a point in my life where i want to get serious and start a family. Hence my internal conflict

It’s the fact that people are saying hyper feminine people are “toxic” because they met one bad person.
Been wanting to dress more feminine more often, your vids always help me out 😀 I was thinking of doing a mix of coquette and lovecore??
Oooh those would look cute together!
