Electric Endurance Kart Racing Series: Round 1!

Live from K1 Speed in Canton Ohio, the Endurance Karting league features a 30-minute sprint race in electric indoor go-karts.
Today we re-start the 5-month series with back-to-back weekends! Join us Sunday April 21 and April 28 as we kickstart a brand-new season of competition. Points are accumulated over 6 races when we will crown our champion!

Post-race notes:
* Fastest lap of the race: Marshall Miller, 25.257
* Biggest movers: PJ Manypenny +4, Sean Horrigan +4
* PJ wins bonus point as the biggest mover tie breaker with fastest lap 25.715
* Dave Flory's finishing position is 2nd in the B-main. During the race, 6 of his laps did not register on the timing system, making the live scoreboard incorrect. The times were replayed in simulation after the race with those 6 laps added back in and that made him the 2nd driver to finish the race with 66 total laps.
* The finishing order of the A-main will be: Marshall Miller, Rachel Hart, Dominck D'Angelo, then Jacob Ryan (with no further changes down the order). The reason for this result is:
1) The white flag was clearly displayed at the expiration of time, leaving 1 lap remaining in the race.
2) Rachel crossed the finish line, taking the checkered flag (even though a second white was displayed in error) which then allowed any remaining competitors to finish their last laps before freezing the running order.
3) At the point where Rachel crossed the line, Marshall was on the same lap as Rachel, leaving him scored as the winner just as the last competitor (Katy Wise) crossed the timing line at the checkered flag (time stamp 2:20:35).

What a blast! Few laps I thought the cart in front of me should’ve had a blue flag but nonetheless a great experience. I will be back!

To get to race in this endurance league how much more is it than a normal arrive and drive

The price is $75 per race. Worth about 4 arrive and drive races!

Better cooling, an additional cell, and more capacity. It's a big upgrade!
