The guitarists aren't all that young. They just got a new younger singer after the previous singers left.
For a band that’s lost a member as integral and important as a long term singer, this song is beyond exceptional and very impressive. Ignore comments, Well. DONE. 👏

I think her voice would go perfect with a lot of the melodic stuff that you guys used to release. For example, her vocals with songs like Head Rush, Somebody Else. and a lot of Souvenirs would fit so well

Interesting to see how they've grown as musicians, had the fortune of meeting Flo and Pierre in Berlin for the Architects tour they are absolute legends and I look forward to their next UK or EU tour

Vocals didn't hit with me at first, but that's because of the change. That being said this is going to be a fun new direction for the band. Cant wait to see what's next. Keep up the good work, and Camille is going to kill it for sure.

You'd think DREAMWAKE would be the new Novelists, but Camille shows they still got their essence.
After listening to this over the last week or so, I’m feeling it.
People very quick to want old stuff that’s had time to burrow into tastes earned through time, but there’s no progression with regression.
Knowing what this band has in their locker, this is a great introductory track for Camille.
There’s still plenty of music to come, let them cook.

I've been a big fan of novelists for a long time and I am very very pleased and excited that you're joined by a woman with such an incredible and powerful voice. I wish I could hear more of her screams in the future, that would be sick 🔥🔥🔥

Agree with you, but a large part of me misses Mateo's clean vocals. He was simply irreplaceable in my mind. I didn't even listen to Novelists while they had the other guy, but she's definitely a better fit. Again, my opinion.

@@Novelists Also, as a heads up, the mix on this is really weird. While Pierre is playing there's all sorts of what sound like random noises in the background totally obscuring what he is doing, and Flo's solo is turned down really low so that it's almost inaudible. I wouldn't push these guys into the background.

La, vous avez réussi à trouver une chanteuse qui à la fois c'est danser, chanter et hurler. Garder ce line-up, car vous avez trouvé la femme parfaite pour votre groupe. I was a huge fan of Novelists prior to Deja Vu, C'est La Vie was one of my favorite songs. I absolutely love this, her voice is incredible, and I love the contrast with the instrumental. Can't wait to hear more!

Tobias wasn't a good fit for the band... he is more of a screamer than a good clean vocalist
I can see what the boys mean with her bringing good energy! The fact that she screams was a positive bonus, but before I got to that part I would have been totally fine with the clean vocals only. Great vocals, loving this sound!

ok, so I became a fan on the last album so i was gutted when the singer left. I also have a huge soft spot for that etheral beauty a ladys voice brings especially when mixed with screams. Than this came. Yeah i couldnt be happier

She's got a really great voice (she featured on their old song C'est la Vie too which is sick). Unfortunately this new Novelists sound does absolutely nothing for me, they've lost all of their character. I would kill for more music like the first three albums.
Seems like their formula recently has been simple three note down tuned riffs and then a solo chucked in at the end. I really really miss the intricacy and atmosphere their music had, it's completely gone.
