I LOVED A PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY! I read it for a uni class but I think it’s good if you’re interested in like Psychology bc the main character is narcissistic and has interesting ways of behaving and validating that behavior, as well as his friend who has unorthodox (philosophical) views that influence Dorian in unhealthy ways. It’s a bit slow and overly descriptive at times but for the most part I think it helps to build the aesthetics (which ironically plays a big role in the character of Dorian).
I think you should try to read the sequel to “Marked” by PC and Kristian Cast because I personally didn’t like the first book that much but it got interesting by the end of the second book. Love your shelves, please give House of Night another chance, it gets better I promise
THANK GOD, you don't love six of crows. I just read it last month and I was so bored! I thought I was missing something, cause everybody seems to be absolutely in love with it. I still really like your bookshelf tours. They don't drag.
I highly recommend El Deafo. I can relate to the characters because I'm partially deaf and had my best friend like the Cece with a box with earphones. A must read! A great representation of a childs viewpoint on what it's like to be deaf or hard of hearing and and how people and the world interacts with you. I actually wrote a long post on Facebook on this book. Actually cried quite a few times because it was on point with the experiences. Excellent book 👏👏👏.
Sorcery of Thorns is my new favorite fantasy book and you need to read it. I was crying at the end (even though it wasn’t that emotional) and I read it in a day.
I loved since you’ve been gone. It encouraged me to reach out to my best friend who I had a falling out with at the time. Now we’re all good 😁 Highly recommend.
I really loved I’ll Give You the Sun and Falling Kingdoms- which I continued to the second book but haven’t read the rest of the series yet, but I’ve heard they get better after book three
Heh I love that you just hang onto the Marked book and others that you hate. I absolutely despise it as well. Theres a few books or animes I've been so betrayed by that I never want to forgot how much I hate them.
I feel like you should read some Rick riordan books. I would start off with percy jackson and the Olympians series, and if you like it you could read the heroes of Olympus series, then the kane chronicles series. The magnas chase and the trials of apollo are kinda weird on how you read them, you have to read the first Magnus chase book then the first trials of apollo book, then the second of the magnus chase books then the second fo the trials of apollo, then the last book for magnus chase books book 4. Then continue with the trials of apollo series. Sorry if this was to long but just a recommendation. There are also novels in the middle of some of the seires. But you dont have to read them.
Fire by Kristin Cashore is one of my all time favorite books from my teenage years, I just reread it and it definitely still held up! I think it is even better than Graceling.
You should totally read Not Even Bones! I’ve heard some people compare it to This Savage Song, which I think you loved. I haven’t read that one, so I can’t say for sure. But I loved Not Even Bones!
Put a hold on becoming for the audio through Libby. It's so good as an audiobook. I just finished Truthwitch... I liked the characters and magic system but the world building was difficult to follow.
You need to read A Million Worlds With You! That whole series is one of my favorites. I find myself thinking of some of the characters that they became sometimes and that's when I know I need to reread it lol Truthwitch is on my TBR along with the VA series reread lol
Oh yeah, semiosis. That was that book you were gushing about in a college week in my life vlog. I just checked my audiobook app and it's on there :) Now I'm curious. I'd say: just get rid of They both die at the end. I listened to it last month and it's fine, but nothing special and I wouldn't have finished it if I had physically read it. Maybe the audiobook could work, but you tried 4 times and we ain't got time for books we don't mash with.
And Fairest was my favourite book in the Lunar Chronicles. But then, when I'd read Stars Above as well I just sold the complete series to someone else.
Uhhhh take flawed off ur tbr! To be honest it wasn’t a bad book but the second one was awful and I dnf so I don’t think reading flawed is worth it fo a bad second book xx
As far as I know, the first draft of the sequel to The Ring and the Crown can actually be bought - even as a paperback! The author independently published it.
PLEASSEEE Do NOT waste your precious time and energy on Hidden Bodies. It's ATROCIOUS. Everything you loved about "You" is NOT in the sequel. It is AWFUL.
How bookshelves tours should actually be done... :)
Same about Heartless! I know some people don't like it very much, but I love it!!!
showtimesynergy ugh such a good book😍

I loved Reboot! I feel this same way with the Unwind series by Neil Shusterman. No one has read it, but I Loved them!

Ikr I was only able to read about 30 pages before I could NOT continue.
I highly recommend El Deafo. I can relate to the characters because I'm partially deaf and had my best friend like the Cece with a box with earphones. A must read! I love I’ll Give You the Sun. Not sure if you’d like it but it’s one of my favorites!
Strange the Dreamer is absolutely amazing!
I would recommend picking up Paranormalcy if you want a easy read. It doesn't have alot of substance, but it will hook you.
Nevaeh Bitzer I’m definitely hoping to get to that one soon!
I love your room and shelves! The big one is so pleasing to look at and a great way to use a corner in a room :)

Since You’ve Been Gone is a great contemporary! I would highly recommend it! Great video 💕
Sorcery of Thorns is my new favorite fantasy book and you need to read it. I was crying at the end (even though it wasn’t that emotional) and I read it in a day.
Girl! You need to read Truthwitch! It is so good! I need the rest of the series
Lynn's Tidbits I keep hearing such good things about it idk what’s taking me so long 😭😂
I magically found you and it was hard not to binge your videos :) Subscribed!
Before She Ignites by Jodi Meadows is so good!
I loved since you’ve been gone. It encouraged me to reach out to my best friend who I had a falling out with at the time. Now we’re all good 😁 Highly recommend.
I really loved I’ll Give You the Sun and Falling Kingdoms- which I continued to the second book but haven’t read the rest of the series yet, but I’ve heard they get better after book three
Everywhere I go people don't like Mara Dyer, and I'm getting ready to read it, so I'm so thrilled you loved the whole series!!
lost in a booKCase tbh the 3rd one isn’t the best but 1 and 2 are 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Just One Day is really good...but the sequel is nah
Also you have to read The Wrath and The Dawn! It's so good!
Heh I love that you just hang onto the Marked book and others that you hate. I absolutely despise it as well. Theres a few books or animes I've been so betrayed by that I never want to forgot how much I hate them.
Before She Ignites is an awesome fantasy series, with great anxiety representation and the final book in the trilogy is coming out really soon.
About your TBR: I loved ‘The Wrath and the Dawn’ and ‘Fairest’!
Definitely Strange the Dreamer
i loved!

I read the vampire academy series every year. Love it! This year was my tenth year reading them!! Rose and Dimitri are my life!! Lol
You definitely should read falling kingdoms if you haven't yet! I enjoyed it alot.
You should totally read Not Even Bones! I’ve heard some people compare it to This Savage Song, which I think you loved. I haven’t read that one, so I can’t say for sure. But I loved Not Even Bones!
You should read The picture of Dorian Gray, it is amazing 😍 I love bookshelf tours btw and you have a New Subscriber 👍🏼

I reread vampire academy this year and fell in love again and will start bloodlines soon
I looove strange the dreamer and the picture of dorian gray 😍
Vixen is so good!
I really enjoyed Of Beast and Beauty and I loved Fire by Kristin Cashore
Also loved Dread Nation. I don't understand the hate. I can't wait for the next book
The second book in the Semiosis duology comes out next month.
I love dread nation I reread it last week there is a second one coming out I think next year. Can’t wait.
Jessica Richardson so excited for the sequel!!
Put a hold on becoming for the audio through Libby. It's so good as an audiobook. I just finished Truthwitch... I liked the characters and magic system but the world building was difficult to follow.
HEH1101 samee! I have such high hopes for Truthwitch so I’m disappointed I didn’t enjoy it as much as other people do
Fairest is good if you enjoyed the lunar chronicles.
Since you been gone is awesome.

Is Catwoman by Sarah J. Maas good?
I highly recommend Trial by Fire by Josephine Angelini. Hope you get to it soon! :)
I'm saving this video just to go over all your recommendations lol
I've been pausing and adding books to my Goodreads TBR shelf lol
@@tiffany3870 😂😂
So pretty, love you, Katie. :)
You should read replica. I loved it!
I want to have a collection like this
Yessss 😍😍😍
I think my older brother had to read Modern Romance for college once. I am highly considering reading rereading The Wake Trilogy by Lisa McMann.
if you didn't like truly devious by maureen johnson I really doubt you'd like the name of the star.
The book dread nation isn't racist but the author is. At least from super problematic tweets she sent out indicated that
ooooh, I hadn't seen that. Thanks for the clarification!
Uhhhh take flawed off ur tbr! To be honest it wasn’t a bad book but the second one was awful and I dnf so I don’t think reading flawed is worth it fo a bad second book xx
So many books so little time

Givemeprimselaughter that’s what I’ve heard 😭😭 so disappointing
9:10 I’m sorry don’t read vixen it’s my least favorite book of all time and is problematic and gross. But that’s just my opinion lol.
The name of the star was so so bad! Wouldn't recommend lol
