Tudor Black Bay 58 and Oris Divers 65 Bronze Bezel - Is this town too big for both?

The oris is my daily wearer. I want a black bay but I think id rather save up for a zenith chronograph, but at the same time, I can always get the black bay, and sell it when I want the zenith.

The BB58 without the date function is more iconic, simple and the symmetry is perfect.

I've got the oris divers 65 myself in black and bronze and am a huge fan! Tempted by the Tudor, but same as you, I feel they are too similar, the Tudor costing nearly twice as much and having expensive service costs, puts me off it. I bought the black blay 36 in blue instead for a Rolex OP alternative.

lol I love this video. Hard to make a decision don’t sell the Oris it’s such ann amazing brand I feel the case of the diver 65 is really something unique and much slimmer than any other dive watch I’ve owned. Wait till Oris puts the caliber 400 into their diver lines then you won’t own the Tudor anymore.

Both watches got a similar vibe for sure. As long as you still feel attached to the Oris I wouldn't sell it too fast. Maybe put it away in a box for at least a month and just enjoy the BB honeymoon in the meantime - then see how you feel about the Oris again: did you miss it enough to keep it or are you ready to let it go?

Keep it if you can keep it, financially. If not, sell the Oris, the BB58 trumps it of course.

Not a fan of the red on ceramic bezel of tudor, but appreciate the ceramic bezel.

I own the same Oris 65 with a leather strap. You should keep both I think. They are very different in my opinion. The Oris makes a perfect dress watch. The Black Bay is an excellent sports watch. They compliment each other.

Keep the one you like better and let the other go. Feels like they both scratch the same itch, and by keeping both around you’ll miss an opportunity to really bond with either watch.
