    Thank you for sharing this video! I've been searching for a robot mower without perimeter wires for so long, and finally found Segway Navimow. It's been a game changer for me! The convenience and efficiency of this mower are unparalleled. No more hassle with wires, and it cuts my lawn effortlessly. Highly recommend others to give Segway Navimow a try!

      I'll have to have a look when our mower calls it a day (hopefully not too soon!).

    May have to add that to the garden tool list. With 2 dogs that’s a great help. 👍👍excellent vid Paul

      Honestly, they’re great. Apart from not having to more the lawn, they’re actually quite therapeutic to watch in action, too.

    I was watching another robot mower review just 2 weeks ago, thrilled to see you have done one too! May I ask the price of the unit and how much research you did into choosing this specific brand and model? Nice garden and home by the way..

      Hi Richard. Kind of you to say, thank you.
      I looked into the different brands quite a bit and decided that Husqvarna’s experience and range of models in this field (excuse the pun) gave them the edge. They just seem to have been making them longer than most.
      We paid around £750 including the installation kit, which I was pretty happy with, as the more complicated models easily jump up to 2 or even 3 thousand pounds very quickly.

    They are great when they're working but when u get the blue flashing light on the charging station then the utter frustration starts. If u do buy one make sure u invest in a good underground cable finder because u will sooner or later get a wire break. I've a 430x for about 5 years and have just about had every problem imaginable but at least now I can fix anything bar a software problem.

      So far so good but I did cut it accidentally once - that was a ball-ache to fix, as there was no additional cable to play with to make a join.

    Nice review. Any issues or concerns to be aware of with the guidewire if scarifying or aerating?

    • @PaulsViewsReviews
      @PaulsViewsReviews  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks. It won't be an issue as long as you are conscious of the guide wire being there. It isn't an easy thing to accidentally cut but it certainly isn't impossible. We have done plenty in the garden around the edges and the wire has always been fine, especially as you can bury it 5cm deep and it works just fine. After 5 years of use, I'd still recommend without hesitation. Hope this helps.

    Great video. Deserves way more views. If you'd have to buy again, would you get the 305 over this? I want to decide between the two? My garden is smaller than yours but has a narrow corridor.

      Very kind, thanks. No, I would stick with this one. The extra features wouldn't warrant the extra investment for me. I imagine they wouldn't for you, either.

    When you whipper snip the long grass wouldn’t you also damage or cut the copper cable?

    • @PaulsViewsReviews
      @PaulsViewsReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The guide wire is under ground so no risk. The only place I need to be cautions is the power cable near the base, but I positioned it higher to ensure it wasn’t a problem.

    Great video thanks! Quick question, how does it cope with the odd doggy doo which is run over? Also, do you have to empty anything? or does it just mulch and drop all the cuts back on the grass?

    • @PaulsViewsReviews
      @PaulsViewsReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Barry. Nothing to empty or pick up as it mulches as it goes. The doggy gift question depends on the age of the offending item; if it is new and soft, it’s getting stuck in the tread of the wheel, I’m afraid. If it’s old and dry then it will just go over it or past it.

    The Automower I have sometimes leaves bits of loose grass on top?! anyway of fixing this?! could it be the blade height?

    • @PaulsViewsReviews
      @PaulsViewsReviews  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you mean loose uncut bits of grass then I would suggest you increase the frequency at which it runs and I’m sure this’ll happen less.
      If you mean loose cut bits of grass then I’d still suggest a higher frequency but also lower the cut height, as you suggest. This ought to solve it.

      @@PaulsViewsReviews Yes I just mean it cuts the grass well but it’s leaving bits of grass on top.. it used to leave “fine little bits of grass on top” but now when it leaves grass on top it looks untidy.. it’s 8 years old now but maybe I need to adjust the height of the cutters? Up or down?!

    How does it work under the rain?

    • @PaulsViewsReviews
      @PaulsViewsReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It works exactly the same in the dry or the wet - it doesn’t affect it at all.

    • @Truthbomb918
      @Truthbomb918 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wheels and blades can get clogged with wet grass trimmings. U just need to check them

    My concern for security would be a 3 on a scale of 10, but having it "jump" the parameter line and mowing down my neighbor's flowers and shrubs is right up there at a 9. How trustworthy are these?

    • @PaulsViewsReviews
      @PaulsViewsReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am totally confident that it won’t pass the border wire. If the charging base loses power then the border wire loses it too and the mower then stops with an error message until power is restored.
