Wonderful piece, mixing traditional harmonies and some little "modern" (please understand this adjective) taste who doesn't ruin the solemn sense of gladness meant by the lyrics. By the way: what about the Cherubic Hymn set for choir by Penderecki?

The recording is fine for me, the background ambiance (whatever it is) makes it sound more... human.. it gives it texture! Just my weird opinion :P
