Moldy Voldy deserves no respect to be called by his name so call him whatever you choose to luv 😉. (Much respect for the actor though, absolutely brilliant.)
In Movie version they show Dumbledore very less powerful. Here is the book version in short. Please read it
“But Master - he is here - he is below -”

Harry had not even opened his mouth to resist. His mind was
blank, his wand pointing uselessly at the floor.
But the headless golden statue of the wizard in the fountain had
sprung alive, leaping from its plinth, and landed on the floor with a
crash between Harry and Voldemort. The spell merely glanced off its
chest as the statue flung out its arms, protecting Harry.
“What - ?” said Voldemort, staring around. And then he
breathed, “Dumbledore!”
Voldemort raised his wand and sent another jet of green light at
Dumbledore, who turned and was gone in a whirling of his cloak;
next second he had reappeared behind Voldemort and waved his
wand toward the remnants of the fountain; the other statues sprang to
life too. The statue of the witch ran at Bellatrix, who screamed and
sent spells streaming uselessly off its chest, before it dived at her, pin-
ning her to the floor. Meanwhile, the goblin and the house-elf scuttled
toward the fireplaces set along the wall, and the one-armed centaur
galloped at Voldemort, who vanished and reappeared beside the pool.
The headless statue thrust Harry backward, away from the fight, as
Dumbledore advanced on Voldemort and the golden centaur can-
tered around them both.
“You do not seek to kill me, Dumbledore?” called Voldemort, his
scarlet eyes narrowed over the top of the shield. “Above such brutality,
are you?”
“We both know that there are other ways of destroying a man,
Tom,” Dumbledore said calmly, continuing to walk toward Volde-
mort as though he had not a fear in the world, as though nothing had
happened to interrupt his stroll up the hall. “Merely taking your life
would not satisfy me, I admit -”
“There is nothing worse than death, Dumbledore!” snarled
Voldemort.
“You are quite wrong,”
“Indeed, your failure to un-
derstand that there are things much worse than death has always been
your greatest weakness -”
Dumbledore never failed down in book version. Voldemort was nervous entirely while face Dumbledore. Voldemort go inside Harry coz he failed to face Dumbledore.
Here for it! 😂

@@absynthefaerie I"ve used Moldy Voldy too.
Telling an orphan child that was marked for death and abused by his extended family that he “deserves to be punished” is fucked up
Also the “LOOK AT ME!” from Daniel was just perfection
The juxtaposition of Sirius calling Harry ‘James’, to Harry being stunned/proud to Sirius dying by his own COUSIN is just brutal
Oh damn...I never thought about that first bit. That is incredibly fucked.
You to fudge: “what do they have to do, put Voldemort in front of you??”
Exactly.
Hahaha turns out it literally had to be that 😅

Fudge: “He’s Back!”
Random Guy in My Theater: “NO SHIT SHERLOCK!”
This is my favorite of the movies. Stephen King stated that Dolores Umbridge is one of the most evil characters EVER!
She might be the most perfect villain ever lol
@@JakeReactsYT I agree, she is awful. The next film is my favorite.
Four is my favorite of the movies and Five is my favorite of the books.
I love how all the reactors recognize that Umbridge is a well played role, and gives props to the actress, but then always reiterates how much they hate her anyway. 🤣 We feel you! 😄
Bellatrix is on of three sisters who are cousins of Sirus. Narcissa Black who marries Lucius Mafoy so Dracos mother. Adromeda Black who marries a muggle born wizard Ted Tonks and is Nymphadoras mother. Becasue she married a muggle she is desowned and her face removed from the family tree. Bellatrix is the oldest and marries Rodolphus Lestrange who is also a death eater. The two of them along with Barty Crouch junior are resposible for the torture of Nevilles parents.
Imelda Staunton who plays Umbridge did a majnificent job. But in real life is the sweetest person you could meet. She is also an amazing singer and has played a nuber of musical roles in Londons West End.
What a crazy family, geeez
Things in The Order of the Phoenix novel that are not in the movie;
Mrs. Fig is a Squib (a person born from a wizarding family but unable to do magic) who was Harry's neighbor for many years. She was even mentioned often throughout the book series. But Harry never knew that Mrs. Fig is actually part of the wizarding community.
Harry actually found out about Hagrid being a half giant by mistake during Goblet of Fire. Hagrid's biological mother, Fridwulfa is a giant. Hagrid's father was a wizard. Grawp is Hagrid's brother by way of their giant mother.
Ron's brother, Percy had a falling out with the Weasley family. He never believed Harry's story about Voldemort's return and was on the side of the Minister of Magic.
Neville's parents are very much alive and are permanent patients at Saint Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies. Because of all the torture that Bellatrix, her husband and Barty Crouch Junior inflicted on them they are mentally damaged. While visiting Mr. Weasley in the hospital Harry, Ron and Hermione come across Neville and his grandmother and was able to meet Neville's parents.
The Weasley twins weren't expelled. They quit school. When Harry won the Tri Wizard Tournament in Goblet of Fire he gave his winnings to the twins. Harry originally tried to give it to Cedric's father but he refused to take it. As a result of Harry giving it to the twins Fred and George started using the money to start a side business and made Harry as a secret investor and silent partner. That is why the twins kept inventing all sorts of magical practical joke sweets throughout Order of the Phoenix.
When the Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Ginny and Luna flew the Thestrals the majority of them couldn't see what it was they were flying. Earlier in the school year they did learn about Thestrals in Magical Beasts class when Hagrid introduced them to the students. Those who had witnessed death had no trouble seeing them. But the rest couldn't and all they saw was raw meat being devoured by some invisible entities. When the group flew the Thestrals it was as if they were flying on thin air. They can feel the animals but couldn't see them.
In the end of the book when Harry talks to Dumbledore in his office, Dumbledore reveals that the prophecy actually came from Professor Trelawney and it was he who witnessed Professor Trelawney make prophecy while she was in a trance. The prophecy was;
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies..."
Dumbledore said that two babies were born at the end of July. Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom. Though the prophecy fit Neville just the same as Harry because Neville's parents also defied Voldemort three times, it was Harry that Voldemort chose to kill instead of Neville. It is believed that Voldemort chose Harry because Harry's mother was a muggleborn. Neville's parents are purebloods.
During the last evening at Hogwarts Harry desperately runs to the ghost of Nearly Headless Nick and tries to talk to him about Sirius possibly coming back as a ghost. But Nick tells Harry that the only reason why Nick is a ghost residing at Hogwarts is because he refused to move on to the beyond. He refused to let go and wanted to remain. Nick explained to Harry that Sirius moved on.
📚🪄🔮
Oh wow that last part about Sirius and Nick.. so sad. I hope he can still communicate with him somehow 🤐
Thank you.
"Neville and Harry can relate"
Oh I felt so bad for you when you were excited watching Sirius fighting side by side with Harry, knowing what was coming up. It's such a sad moment because it's not just a death, it's what that death means to Harry.
Yeah and I was surprised the death didn’t hit me harder but I think it was because it was SO unexpected and the portal that he flew into immediately after I kind of assumed it was going to protect him or bring him back somehow..
@@JakeReactsYT That portal is not a good thing. The whispers you hear are from the death you have experienced I believe and thats why Luna can hear it as well. That is a portal to the realm of death which is why Sirius floated away into it. Do not go in there as a living being as you wont come out. I dont know who or what created it but there is a reason it is locked away in a vault at the ministry of magic. Dangerous magic...
@@JakeReactsYT Sirius's death does seem more abrupt in the movie compared to the book imo, where the description of the action makes it seem more like it is happening in slow motion. The portal is explained better in the book too. It is called the Veil and can be interpreted as a threshold or gateway to the realm of the dead beyond the archway. So when Sirius falls through the Veil, he passes through to that realm and dies. The Veil is located in the Death Chamber, one of about a dozen rooms in the Department of Mysteries (beyond the Ministry door that Harry kept dreaming about) each devoted to the study of a particular phenomenon. There is also the Time Chamber, the Brain Room, the Space Chamber, the Love Chamber, etc.
Between Cedric's death in the previous movie and Sirius's death in this one, the story becomes much sadder and Harry's situation feels more dire. And just a warning, there will be more deaths coming up. I was tearing up while watching and reading about Cedric's death but was full on ugly crying over some deaths in the later books/movies.
P.S. I think you mean "I forgot to talk about *Snape* being bullied by Harry's dad" at 37:08. 😉
The anger towards Umbridge is a universal experience 😅
I hate Umbridge worse than Voldemort. Voldemort is *supposed* to be part of the problem. Umbridge is supposed to be part of the solution
Also, Voldemort at least looks cool. And he doesn’t wear pink.
And there's the most hated character in Harry Potter. The pink menace, Dolores Umbridge. She's not a Death Eater. She's just your every day evil authoritarian behind a simpering smile.
Mrs. Figg was mentioned in the first book so we at least knew something about her. She didn't just pop up in book 5.
Poor Harry. PTSD, survivor's guilt, being kept in the dark, called crazy or a liar, tortured by Umbridge and seeing inside Voldemort's head on top of 15 year old hormones.
Dumbledore picked possibly the worst person other than Umbridge to teach Harry occlumency. He should have known that neither Snape nor Harry could get past their dislike of each other in order for Harry to actually learn properly.
Neville's parents aren't dead. Bellatrix, her husband and Barty Crouch Jr tortured them into insanity. They don't even know Neville or his grandmother.
Dumbledore admitted to Harry that it was "an old man's mistake" to have Snape teach him occlumency. He'd thought Snape would be able to move past his hatred of James for the Order's sake, but he was wrong.
i love the ending of this book bc lucius malfoy got arrested and everyone finds out that he is (and always has been) a death eater. oh, mr. crabbe and mr. goyle too! so their insufferable kids end up being (finally) despised in hogwarts!
Also a couple clarifying things in the book not in the movie was even though Harry saw his mother die as a baby, one can only see thestrals when they’ve seen death AND processed it & understood the weight of what death is after seeing it. As a baby he didn’t understand or fully process what dying meant but as he got older seeing someone that was close in age to him die was something he could understand the gravity & weight of it. If you go back to the third movie, you’ll notice that the carriages at the very beginning pulling the students in the rain while the frog song is playing shows they are not being pulled by anything, those are the same carriages (they look a little different as the movies evolved) in the 5th movie where Harry sees them so you see this is intentional.
Ohhh very true! Makes sense, thank you for point that out
The Weasley family is so blessed they have Harry Potter. He saved Ginny, he saved Mr. Weasley, and he even helped Fred and George with their dream in the book.
Snape knew what Harry meant and contacted the Order so they would go to the ministry.
33:03 I don't know if someone mentioned it or not (fans usually forget to mention it since there are more important details movie didn't show) but this scene where Dumbledore is finally talking to Harry didn't happen like that. Harry was EXTREMELY mad at Dumbledore for many things - mainly for not telling him about prophecy, keeping secrets, ignoring him whole year, for not teaching him to protect his mind himself and instead letting Snape teach him (but Snape just taught him like "Just do it, Potter" without much explaining), for making Sirius hide for a whole year in his family house he hated which led to Sirius jumping at every opportunity to leave the safe place ... there were a lot
of things. To get to the point, Harry WASN'T CALM at all. He was screaming, arguing, grieving and amongst it all he was DESTROYING Dumbledore's office while Dumbledore calmly let him do anything because he knew he deserved it (not to mention there are other things he didn't say to Harry yet😅😅).
It was actually really satisfying to read, Harry finally getting out everything he was angry about and Dumbledore being scolded by a teenager 😂😂
This is one of the things I wished the movie got right. Harry did not take Sirius' death well at all. Harry was rightfully, much angrier in the book and it's not a surprise considering everything he's been put through.
Put Umbridge in Askeban you say? Why should even the Dementors deserve THAT punishment?!
😂😂😂
Luna had the magazine upside down because that page told you to turn it upside down so you could read the runes. The magazine is her father's, called the quibbler.
Oh wow interesting! She’s not as crazy as I thought 😂
@@JakeReactsYT She is in Ravenclaw, the house usually signifying the smart ones. Everyone says they thought Hermione should have been a Ravenclaw because of how smart she is. Do not underestimate Luna :P
@@JakeReactsYT She is going to surprise you!
She's reading the answers to a quiz.
36:55 my suggestion would be to immerse yourself into the books next, cuz these movies are basically a summerized version. The author had a way of making you feel every moment like you lived it. The good and the bad. A great option when you want to escape reality for a hot second as well.
I plan on it!
Two of my favorite things Dumbledussy has ever said: 1) “it was foolish of you to come here tonight Tom” and 2) “Albus Percival Wulfric…….BRIAN Dumbledore. An icon of a name

I loved when did that, he son’d him for sure. Also reading that he was way more powerful and just toying with him in the book is amazing I wish they showed that in the movie lol.
And thank you for your consistent support and kind comments, love having you here! ☺️
Imelda Staunton did a fantastic job playing a character who was more hated than the story's main villain. The fact that Umbridge was more hated than Voldemort himself makes the scene where she gets carried away like firewood by the centaurs that much more satisfying.
When I first saw Grawp, I thought he looked like the illustrated kid on the cover of MAD Magazine, Alfred E. Neuman.
Also....
Cornelius Fudge, after seeing Voldemort: He's back....
Me, sarcastically: *Gee, if only someone said that the previous year and at the hearing. Oh, wait....*
Omg yes that’s who reminded me of! Wow I couldn’t put two and two together but he looks exactly like that kid lol
@@JakeReactsYT It's such a mindfuck, right?
As a Muggle, Dudley can't even see the Dementors in the tunnel, so imagine how terrifying the whole experience would have been.
A fact that is not so clear in the films is that traditional rich families intermarry with British nobility.
Sirius Black has three cousins Bellatrix, Andromeda and Narcissa.
Narcissa is Draco Malfoy's mother
Andromeda is Tonks' mother (the purple-haired witch who rescues Harry from his home). Like Sirus, she was disowned by her family for marrying a Muggle-born.
And Bellatrix is one of Voldemore's biggest supporters, she, along with her husband and Barto Crouch Jr, tortured Neville's parents to dementia and that's why the three of them went to Azkaban
Wow the ties that family has to everything is pretty crazy
@@JakeReactsYT The Black family is among the most influential of the magic noble families. One notable person from that family is a former Headmaster named Phineus Nigellus Black. He is portrayed as a painting in Dumbledore's office during the scene there after Harry saw the dream of the snake attacking Mr. Weasley.
The video game Hogwarts Legacy features Hogwarts during the time Phineus Nigellus Black was the headmaster.
@@JakeReactsYT There's even something called "the Sacred 28": the last pure blooded families in the wizarding world (at least in the UK). They refuse to marry half-bloods, so they're really intertwined.
When Harry's Uncle Vernon said " happy you have finally driven him loopy" it was because Dudley said "he saved me"
You're very ambitious, taking on GOT, LOTR and HP at the same time!
Indeed. It's quite impressive.
you're right about how much harry has had to go through. in the movie his reaction after sirius' death is just pure numbness from despair, but in the book he is almost inconsolable with rage towards both himself and dumbledore, unable to cope, and wishes he himself could also just die. thank you for highlighting the mental health aspect at the end because harry's trauma gets glossed over by a lot of first-time watchers
In Severus ’ memory of being bullied, we heard someone say “Nice one, James”. That was a teen Sirius, which he repeated to Harry. Like father, like son
Umbridge isn't necessarily a follower of Voldemort, which is why her awful actions in this film are actually even scarier. She's a follower of power, obsessed with it. She's practically in love with Fudge (as Minister of Magic) in this, but she'd feel the same way about anyone in the highest possible level of authority that could give her a step above others. Umbridge is twisted in the pursuit of power, regardless of who she follows.
In the books, Umbridge reveals to Harry, when they’re in the forrest, that she was the one who sent the dementors to attack Harry at the start. She said that everyone at the ministry, inc fudge, wanted to catch Harry slipping up but no one did anything, so she decided to take action and set him up
When I didn’t think I could hate her even more 😤
(NO SPOILERS) I think nobody has mentioned this yet, but the adult characters are actually much younger than portrayed in the movies. Harry's parents died at 21, so barely even adults, almost kids themselves. And Snape, Sirius and Lupin are only 35 years old in this fifth movie. Voldemort is 70. I think that they should have hired actors with corresponding age and not go for big names only, it would make the tragedies more powerful, because they are not old/mature people dying, they are very young and heavily impacted by the war: the original Order of the Phoenix members were still teenagers, when they had to try beat Voldemort. And as they said in the previous movie, Snape was a Death Eater when he was a teenager too.
I'm enjoying your reactions, looking forward to the next one.
I think the Volkswagen joke is honestly great lol I’ve never heard anyone make that one before you.
Also, “I hope this one brings us back to the happy feelings”……this is unanimously the fandoms most triggering movie 😂
Lol I forgot that I even said that happy feelings part and it’s the most stressful movie I’ve ever seen I think 🥹😂
@@JakeReactsYT the pink menace is probably more hated then Volkswagen at this point. Besides JK herself😂 Imelda Staunton was a GREAT cast. It’s made all of us have grey hair, but still a good cast

Dumbledore never failed down in book version. Voldemort was nervous entirely while face Dumbledore. Voldemort go inside Harry coz he failed to face Dumbledore.
It's just yet another failing of Mr. David Yates as the director of these movies. The books always make a point of saying that all the times Dumbledore had to spring into action he almost exerted an aura of power. All his spells seemed more powerful then when other people performed them. Yet in the movie Dumbledore falls over like a confused elderly man in the bathtub. I mean, the name of the chapter where this duel happens is "The Only One He Ever Feared" for god's sake, just show us why Voldemort fears him!
Also in the scene where Fudge and Umbridge try to take Dumbledore to Azkaban, Dumbledore doesn't just disappear with Fawkes. He literally takes down everybody in the room single-handedly in the blink of an eye, before they even know what hit them. Such a badass moment that gets turned into this boring escape and they use Shackebolt's line of "he's got style" to try and convince us that it was awesome when we book readers know it could have been so much more.
@@dfcarvalho and Shacklebolt's line (something similar, anyway) was said by the portrait of Phineas Black in the book.

Thank you for taking us with you on your journey to the wizarding world ❤
James Potter was spoiled he was the only heir of an old family. So was Sirius who hated his family and everything they represented so their “pranks” were often plain bullying when it came to Slitherin and Snape was the primary target for the Marauders. It culminated when Sirius lured Snape into the Shrieking Shack on the night of full moon as a “prank. Fortunately James found out and realized that it could end with murder with Sirius as a murderer and Lupin executed as the “murder weapon. He barely managed to get Snape out before he got mauled by a werewolf. James grew up and changed, but yes, as a boy he and the Marauders made Snape’s live at Hogwarts a nightmare.
James did not really change. He just became tamer when Lily was around. Even Sirus wasn't completely changed.
@@OphepheVanessa 'Even Sirus wasn't completely changed.' He pretty much wasn't changed at all...
@regenbogentraumerin I was being generous. Because neither was James
@@OphepheVanessa so you think that lily wouldn't realize that he didn't change had he not? that's so insulting to her intelligence and straight up unrealistic given everything we know about her. jake, i don't even care if you come to the same conclusion as these people have despite me disagreeing but please do not let them convince you it's canon as literally nothing in the books implies he didn't change. every single reference to him implies he DID. lily outright tells james that she'd never date him if he kept being a bully and then she goes on to date him years later. that's enough for me to believe he's changed but i guess not all people see lily as more than just some dumb girl who possibly couldn't resist being with the cute jock even though he was a meanie. because how could a woman NOT be too silly and emotional to see an issue where there was one?
they are also leaving out stuff on this storyline that's in the books, so let me give you the full story. snape had become a pure blood supremacist, bully, and wannabe deatheater. (doing vicious "pranks" just like the marauders, but on muggle borns and with his fellow slytherins, also avidly using the word mudblood and just general blatant racism) it's quite obvious this wasn't why james and sirius started bullying him, yet i could argue someone into a corner that that is why they did it because the books don't very explicit say that they didn't decide to target him because they thought he was a racist. it's simply a reach. the most it can be is a fan theory. the exact same way that it is merely a fan theory that james didn't change. you are acting like this is fact to a person who thinks you know more facts than him. he has no way of knowing that they didn't outright confirm that this book and that's the info you are giving. at the very least make it clear this is soley an opinion.
also there's no implication let alone confirmation the marauders bullied anyone but snape. still bad obviously, just correcting the original comment as they seemingly misremembered. (giving you the benefit of the doubt you weren't just intentionally lying so it'd look worse for james)
People love to outright dismiss the fact that the spells James and Sirius used on Snape were spells that Snape invented to use on others. Snape was not the poor bullied kid people like to imagine he was. He was a racist bully who 100% wanted to be Voldemort's minion. He felt no remorse putting out a hit on a baby to die and only cared that he got to have the mom. Claimed he loved her but had no problems killing her baby and ruining her life.
3:31 she's familiar because she's in game of thrones too: osha
The way I clicked on this video so fast lol I love how invested you are in this series your reactions are so amazing to witness it makes me feel like I’m watching it for the first time again through your eyes as a first time watcher. It is one of the best written series of books I’ve ever read & also watched as movies because there are so many real world parallels we see in today’s world. In fact I watched an interview where J.K. Rowling was saying that the magic is the only thing that’s different than us because other than that you see that the human condition still does not change. There is still corrupt people in positions of power that abuse it or seek it out at all expense to others, racism (the whole pure blood thing & the fact wizards look down on creatures that are not wizards like house elves, centaurs, giants, & other beings in this Harry Potter world which J.K. wrote specifically to draw an analogy to how people in the real world mistreat those who are different to them) & we see how quick ppl are to believe everything they see on the news or read from journalists who are influenced by govt corruption & agendas (meaning the real world media) without seeking the truth themselves & this movie you see the political shift Harry & his friends experience as they get closer to entering the adult wizarding world which we all have done ourselves growing up we start to see how the masses are manipulated in today’s culture to go along with lies & instill fear in ppl who speak up about it & even the message that displays the lies that are spread about Harry & how he still stands by what he believes in even though not many are with him because he knows the truth no matter who persecutes him is just the message we all need in today’s world with cancel culture. It’s all so well done in the hp series.
Also as if you didn’t need another reason to hate Umbridge…in the books Umbridge was the one that sent the dementors after Harry cuz she knew it would put him in a situation where he would have to use magic when he wasn’t supposed to or kill him & the whole ministry was plotting how to discredit Harry & so she enacted on her own accord & wanted to create a scandal so ppl wouldn’t believe him about voldy being back since the ministry was trying to silence him & was going against their narrative. Just makes her even more hypocritical when she says in that fake squeaky tone of voice in the hearing “so silly of me but it sounded as though you were suggesting the ministry had ordered the attack on this boy” like bro sit tf down 😂😂😂
I had a feeling she sent the dementors, but seeing it be confirmed only makes my hatred for her even greater.. which I didn’t know was possible 🤬 thank you for your kind words and support as well!
If Dumbledore and Order of Phoenix told their plan to Harry Voldemort can know all that.
Jake!!! You’re quickly becoming one of my favorite reactors. Whatever you do, don’t change a thing 😅
Keep it up 🫶🏽
That means so much to me thank you!!
Since you asked: I'm watching this while I eat rice and beans (a typical combination here in Brazil, we have it literally everyday), breaded chicken and fried potatos ✨
Rice and beans is legendary, I always order extra if I’m getting Mexican food not gonna lie
amei que mais brasileiros assistem elee, feliz que n to sozinha kkkkkkkkk
@@marjoramos4809 menina eu aaaaamo canais de react! Assisto quase todos de harry potter kkkkk
The Volkswagen jokes keep getting better! I'm so glad you're doing what you want to do. This is your channel, and the people with a good sense of humor will follow you. Keep being authentic my guy.
I'm making sure to watch this immediately before WB decides to copyright claim this one, too. They are one of the worst studios for that.
I think I might have beaten them this time.. 🤞
Yesssss. Dude! You have no idea how much I look forward to these reactions!
It's Death Eaters versus The Order (of the Phoenix). That "portal" is the veil between life and death. Voldemort let go of Harry because feelings for loved ones repel him. Self-aggrandizing Voldemort is the opposite of "but I'm just, Harry," which is why calling him Tom is brilliant. Luna is a little bit crazy; she believes the absurd stories her father, editor and chief writer for The Quibbler, prints in his little tabloid paper. Some people call her Loony.
Fun fact - Hogwarts did not let Umbridge into the Headmasters office, it sealed itself against her.
In the books, the Marauders all 4 constantly tormented Snape, because he wanted to be in Slytherin
they always attacked 4 on 1
also..
in the books, Snape congratulates Harry for getting into his mind by protega -
but ends the lessons when Harry went into the pensieve (th ething Dumbeldore store shis memories in)
where Snape stored his worst memory
so Harry could not see the memory - hes so luckily saw in the movie this way.
Only then did Snape end the lessons.
And yes, Sanpe contacted Sirius
and he was home.
Snape also alerted the order, pnce he realized the kids were gone.
For your questo if Snape is bad or good
Dumbledore trusts Snape.
What do you make of this?
I think Dumbledore recognized the approaching danger of Voldy invading Harry's mind.
If Voldy realized that Harry could see into Voldy's mind, then obviously Voldy could see into Harry's. That means anything Harry saw, heard, or experienced would be available to Voldy; you don't want to share intell with Harry and allow Voldy to know what the order knows, plans or thinks. Basically, Harry's an open mic.
I think Dumbledore wanted to give Harry as much time as possible to mature enough to learn how to shield his mind from Voldy, because it's not an easy skill for even a teenager to develop.
But when Harry saw Arthur Weasley attacked, they had run out of time and Harry needed a crash course in the discipline.
Oh, and VOLKSWAGEN!!! 🤣
You are amazing! Your reactions are so good and your outro's when you talk about mental health stuff is wholesome, heartwarming and so important! Thank you for being vulnerable, outspoken and for sharing your amazing thoughts❤
Best reactions i've seen in a goooood while!
Voldemort wasn’t bullied by Harry’s dad it was Snape who was bullied and if I remember Sirius also bullied him it’s mentioned in the books.
Oops did I type Voldemort 😅😂 I meant snape!
@@JakeReactsYT yes lol 😂 but I’m sure everyone knew what you meant. There’s so many names sometimes it’s hard to remember who’s who.
The woman that plays Tonks in this movie is also in GOT!
Yes I slowly figured that out, very cool! 🤗
Hey, love your reactions mate! especially the fact, that you talk about mental health at the end. It's such an important good...
keep it going :D
Greetings from germany
Jake this edit was so good!! Loved the addition of Sandler’s Volkswagen 😂😂 Every video is getting better and better. Keep it up!
Excellent reaction Jake! Okay at marker 2:38 'Now he better not forget this that you saved him, he might not remember but you should remind him' I love that you said that, Jake! Yes, Mrs. Figg we learned about her in book one, she would babysit Harry when the Dursley's went out on their outings, but we only see her for the first time in this movie! Mrs. Figg is a Squib, born into a magical family but he has no magical powers, just like Mr. Filch.
I think they flew on their brooms without being notice by using a "notice me not" charm. Fred and George know how to apparate, to teleport from one place to another except from faraway places.
7:22 Sirius informed Harry that Neville's parents suffered a fate worse than death, they are patients in St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, having gone insane after being tortured by a group of Death Eaters at the end of the First Wizarding War.
Yay, you are introduced to Luna Lovegood! You also saw that Hermione nearly called her Looney, that says that other classmates tease her. I love Luna Lovegood, she's awesome! You'll grow to like her too!
Delores Umbridge portrayed but Imelda Staunton is the most hated character than Voldy in both book and movie! Kudos to Imelda Staunton to bring her to life and made you and many of us hate her character. You are feeling triggered about the whole deal with her character is valid because many of us felt the same way.
21:01 it happened too fast you missed it when Draco Malfoy forcefully pulled Cho into the frame, tells me she was forced by no fault to her.
Now you know why Snape does speaks ill of Harry's father and yet he tries to help Harry but it's just not that easy at this point.
24:06 "but it could be a fake vision" you guessed correctly. Think back when Harry told Snape "He has Padfoot in the place where it's hidden" Snape knew what Harry meant, Snape alerted the order members and Dumbledore in time to show up at the ministry in time to help Harry and his friends. I was quite upset too about Sirius dying, I didn't like reading that and seeing that in the movie. You are ready for "The Half Blood Prince" now. When this is all over watching the HP series, maybe you might be interested in watching the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary 'Return to Hogwarts' special, that came out in 1/1/2022 they are all grown up now and the cast members get to talk about their time filming the series from movies 1-7, behind the scenes info, some cast members couldn't make it due to health reasons or they are no longer with us. It's really a special to see treat. I enjoyed your video reaction. Peace. ☮
Thank you again for your kind words and amazing information! Love that I get to know so much from you guys, never stop ☺️
After this movie everything changes, I can't wait to see the other parts
Nevilles parents actually didnt die, Bellatrix had used the Cruciatus Curse on them to the point of insanity, they dont even recognize Neville which is why its such a sad backstory. Also why he was so sad in the the last movie when moody used it on the spider in class😔😔😔its cool to hear about these backstories being as dark as they are because neville is such a goofy character in the beginning movies and no one knew what he had gone through
Volkswagen And Dumbelldore fight in this movie was just Awesome ❤️😂
*Let’s all find comfort knowing Greek mythology & what centaurs do.* ❤️🙏
Loving this brother! Keep up the good work! Greetings from cold northern Finland❤🇫🇮
Neville's parents were driven to insanity by four wizards via the Cruciatus curse (being tortured). Two of the the four that took part were Bellatrix Lestrange and Barty Crouch Jr. That's why Neville was chosen in Goblet of Fire to explain the curse, and why he was so effected by it. It's Barty Crouch Jr as Mad Eye Moody being sadistic and making Neville watch what it must have been like.
okay I have to say this because it slightly pisses me off every time I watch that film and I haven't seen anyone talk about it, it's the way they portray Snape as only the victim of the Marauders (James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew) when in reality Snape wasn't really that innocent and it was more of a mutual hatred, mostly between James, Sirius and Snape. They had a terrible relationship literally since their first meeting on the Hogwarts Express. And in the book the whole scene is portrayed very differently. During a lesson with Snape when he had to leave the room, Harry looks into the Pensieve and sees Sirius and James bully Snape in front of other students.
(Among the students is Lily Evans, Harry's mother who tries to take Snape's side but in return he literally just says "I don't need help from filfthy little Mudbloods like her!" and since then their relationship turns a bit sour, which is understandable). So after Harry saw the memory he's devastated by their behaviour and few chapters later he decides to talk about it to Sirius and Remus though the Floo Powder (in the fireplace in the Umbridge's office btw but that's a long story lol). Harry during the conversation confronts them about James' annoying behaviour and the bullying and Sirius admits he's not proud of what they'd done and that they were idiots but after some time they kind of settled down and stopped hexing people, and when Harry asks about Snape, Lupin answers: "Well,' said Lupin slowly, 'Snape was a special case. I mean, he never lost an opportunity to curse James so you couldn't really expect James to take that lying down, could you?'". Sirius also says "Snape was just this little oddball who was up to his eyes in the Dark Arts, and James - whatever else he may have appeared to you, Harry - always hated the Dark Arts." So my point is, while the Marauder's behaviour was horrible, it wasn't black and white, Snape wasn't all that great either.
There is a witch with a broomstick, cauldron and pointy hat coming out of the floo network fireplace. It's like a witch from a cartoon 😂😂
snape was an ass too in school, he constantly made fun of people who were not pure blood, including lilly once she got older, james was not just a bully, they went back and forth, also snape was obsessed with lilly even tho he didn't like muggle borns, she stopped talking to him and started hanging out with james, it was not all as simple as harry's dad bullying him.
Family isn’t blood, family is chosen. Harry Potter is the perfect example of why that is the case for many.
27:52 LOL my exact thoughts when I first saw this part.
The harry potter series has the best heartwarming and smart quotes.
"Harry's got limited family" 😂😂😂 I love your reactions!
Always happy to see your comments, thanks for always being here 😌
Also think on that description of the dementors “as if all the happiness had gone from the world” think about how dark that is like damn..
Welcome back Jake! After the emotional rollercoaster that was the last movie, I almost consider this one a comedy with how comically villainous Umbridge was. Still has the heavy moment at the end but it's almost a step back from the really dark. Brace yourself though!
Thanks for always being here and consistently supporting, much appreciated. And oh trust me I’m preparing myself 😅
37:17 Vordemort being bullied by Harry's dad lmaoo
I would pay to see that lmao
@@elize3137 "Heyyyy VOLDY, you forgot to grow a nose! Wait, let me do it for you, ENGORGIO!!! "
Fun fact, Universal Orlando Epic Universe is building a Ministry of Magic ride and building so you can actually walk through it!
Someone else my have said it but nevilles parents are not dead. It was a fate worse than death they were tortured to the point of insanity.
Also umbrige is hated in the potter community more than voltzwagpn
Trelawney had made the prophecy. That was why it was unsafe for her to leave the castle. Voldy might know and grab her to know what the prophecy said.
I'm really enjoying your reactions, first of all it's funny but I also relate with some of the things you said and you seem like a down to earth person and genuine as well, keep up with the videos!
(this is one of my favourite franchises)
Really appreciate that! And I’m glad you’re enjoying 😌
Hahaha u added in Happy saying “Volkswagen”😂
You should seriously check out the deleted scenes after you finish the series. They have compilations on youtube with all the deleted scenes. There a scene between Harry and Dudley that wasnt included in the movies that completely changed how I saw their relationship. It's been a while since i read but I think it was in the books
Edit: I actually had to look this up but yes, Harry did find the Mirror of Erised in the Room of Requirment in the first movie. Thats such a good callback, but its also very sad because that means Harry NEEDED to see his parents for the room to open.
Also, your face when Dumbledore shows up to fight Volde is exactly why I watch these videos. Calling him Tom was the most gangster thing I've seen in these movies. DUMBLEDORE IS THE GOAT
Voldy sent the AK spell at Dumbledore. Fawkes appeared and swallowed it and died. Then rose up again.
Just wanted to say THANK YOU for those kind and important words at the end of the reaction🙏🙏🙏
Not sure if you figured it out, as I'm typing while watching, but Nymphadora is Osha in Game of Thrones, the wildling with Bran.
Edit: I'm glad you're seeing why the Fandom hates Umbridge even more than Volkswagen 😂
I prefer to live alone and keep to myself. It works for me but like you say it’s good to have people on your side
A patronus charm can be useful against a variety of opponents. Not just dementors.
Something they teach in Dumbledore’s Army.
😜
Yes, Tonks (actress) is Osha in GoT
Great reaction to the most hated pink lady in the series LOL More than Volkswagen himself! lol
23:23 Yes that's why he hates him because he resembles his dad in looks to a scary level BUT that's not why Snape himself is a bully to kids like Neville.. James is NOT a bad guy.. remember what Sirius said nothing is black and white.. James had some bad choices in his youth but he outgrew that for his wife Lily and became a great suporter of the good cause fighting to death against Volkswagen!
There is more to the story than you saw! the marauders were good kids.
24:35 He did help! he's the one who sent the order and Dumbledore to the ministry.
32:09 In the book it was as torturous to Volkswagen as it was to Harry! He couldn't bare to be inside of Harry's mind! and the last straw was the surge of love and courage he felt when he remembered his loved ones! Dumbledore says in the book that he couldn't bare so much purity and love that's in Harry to share his thoughts and body so he fled it!
33:50 Mainly from his two buddies and Ron's family! Specially someone he'll start getting A LOT of support from starting next movie! You'll love it!
And mainly because he's constantly described in books that he though looks a twin to his dad he's got his character mostly from his kindhearted and ever loving mom, well he actually gets the best of both of his parents; Immense courage, kindness, smartness, loyalty, forgiving nature, strength and so on! he's a very good natured guy Dumbledore always points that out in books.
35:10 yes.. Dumbledore admitted it was foolish but he never thought while watching him grow up that he'd care so much about Harry so he kinda took Mrs. Weasley's approach a bit; keeping him safe by keeping him a bit away.. but he'll stop now!
You'll LOVE next movie Dumbledore/Harry relationship! and keep you eye on comments then too there's a lot to it than what you'll see!
Once again, amazing reaction Jake! You're a natural, always so invested in whatever it is you're watching as well as completely focused on the plot/minor details. I genuinely hope your channel keeps on growing cause you definitely deserve it 😊
Greetings from France !
Thank you so much! I try to give my all when reacting because I know that what I’m watching is loved by so many people so I want to make sure I give it the attention it definitely deserves 😊
I think the face in the flames was actually Gary Oldman this time because he is actually in the movie.
It was Wormtail that killed Cedric!
Dumbledore put all kinds of spells on the Dursley's house to help protect Harry. Ms. Fig was a squib, born to magical families but can't perform magic, in the books the Dursley's often left Harry in her care, not knowing she was from the magical world herself. Harry Potter is rich without the winnings from the tri-wizard tournament. His father's family was rich and Harry inherited that fortune. The Black family was also rich and Sirius left it all to Harry.
Snacking on: popcorn
Drinking: a paper plane (bourbon, campari, amaro nonino, lemon juice)
I've never heard of this. Looking into amaro nonino, now. Thanks.
Now that’s an interesting recipe, thank you for sharing ☺️
The director for this movie was a different one from the previous movie. I guess that’s one of the reasons why Sirius looked different when he spoke through the fire. There were 4 (5?) different directors for all the entire story.
Oh, and about Dolores Umbridge. Have you watched Maleficent? She was the red fairy. And the cook in the Nanny McPhee movie.
20:22, Yeah, we do accept your apology Seamus. We need all the good wands we can get. Takes courage to apologize.
I think no one mentioned this here
Sirius was hit with an unknown curse (not avada kedavra) that made him stumble backwards right into the Veil.
That girl, tonks, is the same actress that plays Osha, in game of thrones
I remember being in the cinema and when harry said "mrs fyg" everybody laughed because in my language the word "fick"(close enough to her name)is the german word for fucking 😂
Nymphadora = Natalia Tena = Osha from Game of Thrones (the lady wildling who attacked Bran in season 1 and was taken prisoner by the Starks)
Jake: Good vs Evil. Good always prevails. Always..... Right?
Me quoting Spaceballs: Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
Also love your videos ive watched so many harry potter reactions and when i saw your Goblet of Fire one i binge watched every other and subscribed
On the train ride back the previous year they had turned Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle into slugs.
This time they cornered Harry after their parents are sent to Azkaban. Members of the Dumbledore's Army happened to be there and they all blasted the three and turned them into slugs again.
This is perfect for my Sunday morning
