    Space Bustic Park will be uploaded to the workshop momentarily :)
    Edit: Space Bustic Park is now uploaded to the workshop. Check the description of this video for the link! Also I reworked the coaster a bit. It works so much better now with a couple of thrusters.

      I put 18 additional small atmospheric thrusters on it and it works like a charm. A rather fast charm :D

    I saw people using Blastdoor blocks as rails for monorail trains. If you wanna build a roller coaster from blocks you most definitely wanna go monorail and just add wheels on the underside to get a grip on the rail from underneath. Use the columns to hold the rails and free block placement to anchor them into the voxels at any angle you want. It's definitely more work than voxelhands, but it might work, too. Making curves and loops is just placing each Blastdoorblock individually with a slight offset in direction (look at irl monorail switches, to get an idea of what I mean).

    Try to build a functional Calculator (Idk with rotors n' stuff) which can do simple math like 1 + 1 = 2.

    It's been a long time since I did a rotor suspension, but I have a few ideas of how to make it super smooth. One thing to note is set the wheels to 0 friction and keep it as tight as possible. Thrusters for moving.
    Anyways very good video as always.

  • @Matthew_Raymond
    @Matthew_Raymond 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Technically what you made is a monorail. A roller coaster is typically not self-powered, but is instead lifted to a certain height where gravity gives it enough momentum to get through the rest of the track. That’s where it gets its name. Of course, you can always do a “Part II”...

  • @andyherle

    possibly the use of thrusters of some sort would improve speed and disabling propulsion for the wheels to act as simple clamps might generate a smoother result?
    dont know if you set rules or anything at the beginning that might have made that impossible

    @halfcirclehranch6877 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not really a rollercoaster, since it doesn't coast. I thought you might try to make it glide using zero friction wheels.
    Should have used ores to give the track some color. I hear gold ore is better for this application.

    What about thruster power with frictionless wheels?

    • @AndrewmanGaming
      @AndrewmanGaming  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's actually a pretty good idea! I did some reworking of the thing for the workshop upload and I added some thrusters for help but the wheels are still powered. I wonder how it would work with all the wheels frictionless.
      Random idea: You guys said you wanted to do something more my speed? Let's make competing theme parks in SE and see whose is better!

    have you tried to use T Rails?

    • @AndrewmanGaming
      @AndrewmanGaming  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't try it in this one mainly because I wanted banked turns and the T rails would have made it difficult to get those banks. I'm pretty sure the only way to pull off a proper roller coaster with banks, loops, drops, etc with blocks is with those super large block pieces I showed off at one point. But it would be wayy more difficult than using the voxels.

    Name of mod which u can modify terrain???and where I can find the mod u are using in space??

    • @AndrewmanGaming
      @AndrewmanGaming  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's not a mod, it's the voxel hands! These are available in SE. You just have to enable them when you are setting up your custom game. When in creative, you are able to take a voxel tool just like any other tool in the G menu. Then you use a voxel editing key (specified in keybinds) to change draw size and settings. Finally, you can click or right click to draw the voxels in 3D space!
