Growing up with 2 stroke made it so hard to switch to 4. The 2 stroke sound just bring back so many memories. Absolutely beautiful.

There is absolutely no better feeling then having a 2 stroke that is staying together long enough to put in some good hard laps and feeling free and wild and making all that lovely noise. Love it !!

These engines are pure love, I never get tired of their sound.
The sound + the smell is half the fun. The other half is blistering acceleration and the feeling of staving off a deadly accident
In my opinion 2 strokes are the best engine ever made ...... simple , light , and they have the force like hell ...🔥
But they are not fuel friendly

I got a 2006 YZ-125, used to race it, been a few states away for years, still in tremendous shape, has only been ridden 2-3 times in the past 10 years. Im getting that baby down here and sending the engine off to get some work and getting that bad boy in mint shape all spruced up, can’t wait, most fun bike I’ve ever ridden, so light and agile, so playful, can’t wait to get that thing rolling again. My brothers got a very modded super sick 2008 RM 250 2-stroke and my dads got a 1996 KX-250 2 stroke with alot of work done too. Blessings on the ears of all

Today's bikes are amazing! I grew up on the old steel frames. Dual shocks, drum brakes, And heavy bikes. Maiko, Hodaka, Bultaco. My Cousins Maiko 490 spider scared us all to death!

Born in 2005 and this sound is pure music. I once had a 2 stroke motorcycle (not for cross though) but it broke. Had to use a 4 stroke instead. Been a year and I am still pissed.
And then I noticed one of the drivers is Dennis Ulrich, my favorite Crosser!
At the very beginning it sounds like some sort of beast or wild animal....
Turns out it was just as I suspected. The beautiful sound of a 2 stroke in its natural habitat ✊🏻

Growing up in the country, always had a 2 stroke! I think now, with them outlawed in CA we need them more than ever! My favorite bike that I rode and worked on a lot was a Kawasaki h2 tripple! She had some serious balls. Rode for shit, brakes sucked ass, suspension sucked. But it was soooo fast. :) Thanks for the video!!! Brings back so many memories!
