    INSTANT POT RABBIT INGREDIENTS
    One 2 to 3 pound whole rabbit, bone-in
    Salt
    Pepper
    Garlic Powder
    2 TBS oil
    2 lbs. carrots
    2 lbs. potatoes
    1 lbs. mushrooms
    Fresh herbs to taste
    1/2 cup water
    INSTANT POT RABBIT RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
    STEP 1: SEASON rabbit with salt, pepper and garlic powder
    STEP 2: HEAT 2 TBS oil in pan, brown rabbit on all sides
    STEP 3: WASH vegetables, peel carrots and cut into coins, cube potatoes and cut mushrooms in half lengthwise. Wash and trim your fresh herbs.
    STEP 4: LOAD pressure cooker. Start with rabbit, add vegetables then herbs on top. Add 1/2 cup water
    STEP 5: COOK on meat setting for 8 minutes
    STEP 6: RELEASE steam, remove herbs, plate up and enjoy!

    Tried this recipe. Thank you. I seared the rabbit right in the instant pot on saute. Also added onion to the.recipe. loved the flavor with those herbs. I added paprika and dried parsley. My rabbit is a bit dry so maybe it cooked too long at 8 minutes, but overall, good flavor with the fresh herbs.

      Brenda, thanks for the feedback! It's crazy how fast the rabbit cooks up. I bet the paprika and parsley were delicious!

    Thanks for the written instructions at the end. Sometimes i try video recipes and have to pause and replay stuff. Great idea, will try tonight with a aelf raised silver fox rabbit! Mine are quartered though.

    Can I just place the rabbit meat straight into the instant pot without browning it in a pan first?

      Brent, my understanding is that the searing helps keep the juices inside the meat while it's cooking. If not seared it might turn out a tad dry. If you try it without searing 1st let us know how it turned out!
