Let me just say that I understand why Luminous is annoyed - but in-universe, like 2 hours prior, she was considering leaving the city behind and starting over to save herself. She only changed her mind when she realized who she would leave to die if she did. I kinda love the Velgrind(forget me ever spelling that right) already has so much faith in Rimuru, despite not knowing Rimuru nearly as long. Also I want to mention that this is one of the things I utterly love about this show. Veldora, Velgrynd and Luminus, 2 dragons and a demon lord vampire - all entities that would traditionally be the enemies in a story, are acting as the shields protecting all living things in this world. This show is like the purest form of "It's not your species/race or title but your actions that show who you really are" There are so many demons and monsters that are just as good as humans and plenty of humans worse than monsters.
Luminous's doomsday massage is one of the best quote of tensura. It alone gives goosebumps and also nostalgic feeling of how this series from the beginning was all about uniting the whole world . And finally its happening. Rimuru united all of world leaders while luminous united every other people of this world.
This episode was a little on the sluggish side, but I like the slow tension build up into the next battle. I also appreciate the thought the author put into everyone's point of view, it just makes the tensura world come to life even more. Can't wait to see Vega and his crew get wrecked. Great narration as always LB, can't wait to hear the next one!

It’s kind of crazy the power creep in the stories and how much certain charcaters have grown, in s1 of the anime it took rimuru and all his heaviest hitters an entire day to fight a single charybridis and not be close to taking it down, but now they need to face a literal army of charybridis level enemies, which is crazy But the luminous speech was so cool gave me avengers endgame sorta vibes with everyone uniting to fight this final sorta battle for the faith of the world
