And both theories are fortified by the fact that even before having any kind of power, Rimuru didnt had any problem getting near veldora, who during that time never suppressed his power and was common sense that no one could get near him. Although Zalario doesn't get much screen time, his tendency to overthink and get lost in thought is very obvious. So when faced with Rimuru's absurd existence, it leaves him particularly shocked. I've always wanted to make the visuals more aligned with the imagination and the text, and ever since I discovered that storyboarding could help convey that better, it seems like the results have indeed improved.
