Oh, LORD, I love these uniforms! They remind me of the post-Movie era and the post-ENT era (Pacific 201), without looking corny or hackneyed. That story was VERY well done. It had all the hallmarks of a good TNG episode, bite-sized. Love it, love it. This is why Trek will live on forever - fans like you all.
Excellent story, well told! Ross' VFX are near studio quality (and we could use his help)! Although I prefer uniforms with TOS rank braids, your uniforms and bridge set is a logical bridge between TOS and TWOK. Looking forward to seeing more stuff from the "Lost Era".
Enjoyable. Loved seeing an Oberth class vessel. Decent story. The makeup on Taer is looking better IMO. And respectfully, Sarah Holton is a rather good looking woman ❤.
It appears that I have acquired the prime of the comment section, and have made the first comment my own. I ADORE the drone Shots, they look Amazing! Great job with Episode 2! Looking forward for many more adventures.
So poignant, so beautiful, so saddening!! Such a wonderful, heartfelt, touching, heart wrenching episode!! I’m crying & sobbing right now!! This episode is humbling
I actually like the Captains character. He seems like A D bag but I like D bags. I also kinda have a man crush on him I don't know why lol. Great job guys I enjoyed that.
Wow. What a profound story -- and told in only a few minutes' time! Very well done. I like that Hawkins decided to leave the outcasts in place and peace, as their presence wasn't disturbing anyone and interference would only lead to their deaths. Your CGI is fantastic, and the make-up work is improving (the Romulan's ears looked almost natural!). Still not a fan of the blue overhead lighting on the Caliborn bridge -- I personally feel like the lighting should be all one color, such as the spotlight over the captain's chair. Muted lighting over the consoles is fine, but blue just doesn't seem right.
@@Potemkin1711 Maybe try a lighter shade of blue, then? The bridge just seems so dark and dreary, but it is -- of course -- all your own prerogative as it is your ship! :)
@@ChristinaMoore79 I'll try a lighter shade for this weekend's Caliborn shoot. :) Thanks for the suggestion. As long as the control surfaces pop, it'll be great.
@@Potemkin1711 I don't mean to be a pain in the booty, lol. I'm really only speaking of personal preference, as I know you gotta do what works best and what you like matters most! I wanted so much to join the crew myself (I love right above you in Ohio), but never could arrange a trip down there. Maybe some day in the future!
I actually think it rather presumptuous to assume at all Cheronians were killed in the war on their planet. After all, Bele had been chasing Lokai for some thousands of years, he said, which is indicative of their being a spacefaring race when our own was still in the muck. It's entirely plausible, as was said, that there were many Cheronians off-world when the home planet was destroyed.
@@ChristinaMoore79 It may be presumptuous on my part, but no other fan film, or any Star Trek incarnation for that matter showed anyone from Cheron other than that one TOS episode and this film. I was going on the odds of that happening being pretty high so if there were other people from Cheron 'out there' then we would have seen them more often. That's what I was getting at.
The base models are just simple leather jackets, painted red/maroon with Fabric and Vinyl Spray paint. The straps and greebling is comprised of small bits of painted leather, some painted elastic straps, and a little bit of some painted fabric strips. The backing for the badge is eva foam, and I found a wonderful little store on Etsy that supplied the patches. Then I just added a little bit of paint for extra details.
Nice! I've watched a few of your video's.. I like what your trying to do.. But a few critics: Wardrobe: Uniforms are not fitting the actors correctly they need a more "Tailored" look and please No More Turtlenecks.. Mock turtlenecks will work/look better. Props: They are all over the place.. Phasers, Tricorders, Communicators from different era's all being used at the same time..just confusing. Acting/Staging: If possible don't allow the Actors to stop making physical movements and just stand still to say dialogue Have them move "Walk and Talk" like normal conversations. I live in Louisville Kentucky I am also an Actor, a 30year Star Trek fan and I sew and tailor some of my own Uniforms..contact me.
I respectfully disagree on the opinion that the props are out of place. I enjoy them, and in most cases they really are not from vastly different eras.

excellent awesome production, interesting Romulan probe design.

Cool effects I like that green beaking, really awesome.
Enjoyed this one. I feel bad it took me so long to watch a new episode of my favorite, active, fan production. As always, can't wait for more.
A sad tale well told guys.👍
Interesting concept. Very well done.

Thank you. That means a lot to us!
Interesting depiction of how two captains would assess ... and handle... a situation differently.
A somber tale, very well done.
The Security Team jackets reminded me a bit of Battlestar Galatica 2.
Great story and I loved the effects. The outro theme is amazing too 😍
Good job.
Gr8 job!

You CAN say it you know! It ISN'T a wear word!
My god, these Caliborn crews' uniforms always make me think they are Section 31.🤣
The musical score is outstanding. Is the flute-like (to my ears) music the one called "Asian Harmony" in the credits. Thanks guys.
Yes. It came from Freesound and was composed and performed by N0IZ.
great show 😎
“Better to die then to live as no one.” 🤔
Something like, “No man is an island...”?

The blue lighting at the stations makes the graphics on the panels "pop." I have tried other colors that were less visually effective.

@@ChristinaMoore79 you'd be more than welcome. And I don't think experimenting with the light is bad at all.
You have a crewman from Charon? That's pretty ambitious. I thought all life with the exception of two were long gone. I love it though.
He was off-world when the Great Calamity occurred.

Those Tal Shiar are DEVILS!
What is the green object at 7:48?
Also, Edda Jex 😍😍
Romulan security observation satellite.
Wait! The people of Planet Cheron destroyed each other. Who’s he, and where did he come from?
The report of the deaths of all Cheron were greatly exaggerated.
Those away team jackets…I like them. How were they made?
The actor that played Lune designed and created them themselves!

Several takes. :)

Very poignant! Thanks! Hilda Hellacious?! Really?
Oh yes. Very.
👋
If I remember my star trek lore correctly, the 1/2 white, 1/2 black race destroyed themselves before they could join starfleet.
As stated elsewhere, the report of their extinction has been greatly exaggerated.
