Garlic Man is unique but very adorable.🥰 Bag -O-Day Crochet has a great granny square tutorial on keeping the sq. Flat without turning it. Have a great day! 🥰
Morning Lily. Hope you're ok. Watching you with my morning coffee is a great way to start the day. Little garlic man is super cute. Very satisfying when an idea comes to life and a bonus when it turns out . Your granny square is very pretty. I'm making one out of scraps. I start with a 10g mini. A few grams go into my mitred square blanket, then another gram goes into my mini mitred square. The rest goes into a magic knot ball and into the growing granny square. I tend to save the scraps and then tie them together with all similar colours together. So they flow together. Simple, but I love it. Sorry that was very long-winded. Thanks for sharing your makes and time. Xx
Hi Angela, thank you for watching I’m glad you enjoyed it! 😊 Nneed to apologise thank you for sharing what you’re making. 😊 Your blankets sound lovely with all the scraps what a great way to use them all up 🧶🧶🧶 I’m not sure what a magic knot ball is though so I’m now going to Google it 😊 xx
Love garlic man, agree he should be a French man, with a beret!! I started watching you last month and thoroughly enjoy watching. Also love your colours for your lap blanket.xx
Hi Sue, thank you for watching I’m glad you’re enjoying my videos 😊 The French style is a popular opinion for his clothes so I will see what I can make for him 🧄 Have a lovely evening xx
Morning you are a very clever lady and a inspiration to others we self doubters are our own worst enemies so enjoy and be full of pride in yourself And I love watching your vlogs look forward to seeing them I live near Norwich so not that far from you I think x x
I love garlic man he is so cool, you are so clever Lily. I love the blanket as well and I’m sorry there is no such thing as too pink !!! 😂😂😂 pink is the only colour Love all your makes and it’s lovely to see how much you have grown in confidence xx
Ah thank you Lindsey 🥰 I love pink too 😂 I definitely feel more confident I still can’t believe I have a channel and people watch! Thank you for watching and your support 😊 xx
I can totally relate to your excitement over garlic man……he is brilliant! I love him. I’m sure you could sell both the patterns for pumpkin folk and garlic man. Other options could be beetroot, onion and artichoke headed folk.
I think I’m going to make a whole family of different veg/plant people. Levi is a perfect name and he won’t forget it as it’s on his bag and dungarees. 😁xx
P.p.s. have you ever watched Scottish mudlarking? Craig and Nicole pick up lots of sea glass and Nicole makes jewelry and art from it. She uses the most unique jewelry findings, like a tea kettle to hold the marbles and little nest for tiny glass "eggs". Just sharing since I know you love sea glass hunting.
Another fun visit! The garlic toy is very clever. Did you always like creating? I've enjoyed arts & crafts ever since I was a child. I don't get out much as I am caring for my mom so like seeing your cheery videos.
Hello, yes I’ve always really loved making things from when I was little. You’ve given me an idea as I can talk about that on a future episode- thank you 😊 I do try to make the videos nice and cheery and lighthearted for everyone. Thank you for watching 😊xx
Brown fabric made me think you could do mr. Potatohead.🤔 complete with bow tie and hat and glasses. Too pink?? Nope. Never.😍💞 Your flowers on the bags are very pretty. Thanks for sharing. P.s. I plan to make sew seren fox and wolf. The design of all their animals is so cute.
Ooh have fun making the studio Seren dolls they are so much fun to make. I haven’t made the fox yet it looks cute though as they all do. Thank you for watching 😊 xx
Oh my goodness! Your veg people are so beautiful! Will you be making a pattern for them? You are so clever. The sunset at the beginning of your video is just stunning 😍🥰 xxx
Hi Sammie, I bought the pumpkin pattern and tweaked it for the garlic person. It was a gorgeous sunset I sometimes get to the beach early enough to catch a nice one. Thank you for watching 😊 xx
Hi, I grew up with Turnip man in the 1950s! Your makes are lovely and one of my favourite flowers is Nicotiana, such a wonderful perfume. So exciting to see sand martins, we don't have them round here; Cliffs are chalk. Question: What do you do for work? See you soon.xx
Hi 👋🏻 My dad gave me the seeds, his nicotania grew really tall last year and the flowers did smell lovely, fingers crossed mine will grow well. The sand martins come every year we love watching them nest. Ooh thank you for the question I will write a little list and I can answer them in a video 👍🏻 thank you for watching 😊 xx
Yey 🎉 for the return of the Pumpkin Folk!! My favourites 🎃 and now they can morph into other veg 🧄 I'm as thrilled as you are with Garlic Guy and i think a good name (should they get one) would be Clover 😅 Get it? See what i did there! Boom boom 😂😂😂 Regarding rooty beard, all I can see now is Jon Pertwee as Worzel Gummidge!! His turnip head has quite the fetching root goatee 🤣 Ps. I turn my blankets to keep em square, not necessarily every round, and the look of the stitches is fine even if its other ones like V stitch or shells etc etc 👍🏻 Youre still going from strength to strength Lilly ♡ Oh and did you say you were so pleased with garlic guy?? Did you? 🤔 like really really happy?? 😂😂😂😂 Ive laughed along with you, such fun ❤❤❤
Hi Rowan, haha I knew you’d be happy about the return of the pumpkin folk 😂 I have a host of other veg/ options now too 🧄🧱🍄 Clover is a perfect name! 🥰 I will carry on with how I’m making the granny blanket then but maybe not turn in every round, thanks for that 🧶🌸 I’m glad I made you laugh 😆 I laugh at myself a lot 😂😂 I’m definitely feeling loads more confident it helps all the lovely comments I get 🥰 see you next week xx
