Very nice video explaining everything in detail. I have PR 9000 onboard which is an advanced version of the PR 6000. But regardless by watching your video I was able to figure out how to make the alarm test on PR 9000 as well. Only small difference between the two systems.

Yeah, I'm agree too that video is useful but there is mistake: we can test underway off heading alarm too. Just set minimum of heading alarm on auto pilot, on hand steering turn week to any side for moving vessel and change course than puton auto and set auto steering opposite course around 20 degr. and u will see alarm😁

Sir we set off heading alarm in auto mode the set is 15 degree; but means wen there is alteration in sea passage we cannot give more than 15 degree till the set heading comes ??
Good information sir but there is one doubt as well. If you pause the video at 10:27 then there is a page from some manual or book which explains the meaning of both off course and off heading. The meaning you explained and the meaning given in that page is opposite,i.e, your explanation of off course matches with its off heading alarm and vice versa. Please check it sir as there will be a comfusion. Also what is the role of these two alarms ?
bhai itna sahi se book pe samjhaya and still it confuses you ...it amaze me... and you said quote ''your explanation of off course matches with its off heading alarm and vice versa.'' unqote kaise bhai kaise ...video k starting me bhi maine autopilot manual me heading difference and offcourse alarm dikhaya h and then i explained it on the book and still your saying ki 10:27 pe jo h maine jo bola h wo opposite h...bhai please watch video from beginning write down on paper and then ur doubt will be cleared automatically..and when you watch video look on the 00:33 page carefully
we dont touch that pannel as it is for technician, from that panel technician can enter and check the duration of various gyro equipment, running hours etc which are required by technician
We never put gyro error anywhere it is just for our knowledge and once we are near port at that time we adjust Are heading by considering gyro error but manual we never change or enter gyro error value anywhere

brother MAG is magnetic course as shown on monkey island variation is not applied in it
