Doesn't take much effort to boot up a game, shoot an hour of footage or take 50 screenshots which will keep you going for a while. Idk it just seems like a cop out.

That ended in a huge fight, at the end of which only a handful were left. Those then refused to select one of them as sacrifice, only to be informed that it was all a social experiment

What was even weirder about that vault is vault-tec actually constructed a sacrificial chamber in the vault. So even tho they rewarded the vault for choosing not to do it, they absolutely were ready for peoples self preservation to kick in. And they followed through with the execution. Like, just release them? Nah. Murder by turret.
It seems like they had a golden opportunity (by Vault-Tec standards of conduct). The “sacrificed vault-dwellers could have been given a “fake execution,” and then been good test subjects for surface studies. Hell, they could have even indoctrinated them into running additional research on their former vault-buddies. This is why I should never be put in a position of power at that level, for such nefarious purposes.😂

Because the last overseer made it where it's not by-election. But by computer it was random and a bunch of people in power. Did not like that, so they had the numbers and they stole weapons and there was a big fight. Where only about 4 people were left alive. And they were so stated by what they did that they were gonna kill themselves. But one guy before the others could help kill him shot 3 guys. Then left the vault.
Thats kinda right but there was 4 after finding out nothing happened they had regrets but decided they would all leave the vault but as they were leaving 1 of the 4 shot an killed the other 3 so it was just him

This vault felt more like one of those 'if we say jump off a bridge, how many of you will do it?' vaults. Rather tame, but certainly tested to see how many people would be able to actually think for themselves. Which as was shown by the time the vault was found, was none of them except for 1.

They still sound great. There are a lot of bands who are younger and they’re falling apart playing live. But they’re also smart because they’ve surrounded themselves with a great backing band.

That sounds like something the Aztecs did. They would choose an individual and they could play as a god for sometime, they would also get women and anything they wanted. The catch was they would get sacrificed in the end.
What's worse is they heavily stocked the vault with weapons and ammunition more then food to further increase the tension but to be fair they do that in quite a few vaults.
Over 25-30 years, That means parents would be self sacrificing and the kids would grow up in that sacrificial culture. I bet the last 5 were either family or lover pairs etc. at some point they probably sacrificed kids/teens.
What’s sad is this how the world is get told to something and don’t even actually try to find out just does it so you can live freely in reality just do yo own thing and everything will be fine

Am I the only psychopath that quickly did the math? 1 year to come up with a sacrifice...so why not specifically "breed" a sacrificial dweller, it only takes 9 months to do so. That way, no established dwellers are sacrificed and therefore no skills and knowledge is lost.
Also getting to fight alongside the brotherhood with Lyons is epic and there was a feel in fallout 3 that I think still makes it a unique iteration compared to all the others. Liberty prime for the win lololol

This is actually one of the most tame Vault experiments that we know of. It's the people inside the Vault that made it so terrifying.

This vault is pretty lightweight compared to other vaults. There is one vault with 999 women and 1 man. Now that is a nightmare.
