Very interesting storyline for The Sentry! I’m really liking the idea of him and the void working together. He’s had some bad writing in the past but I’ve always found the idea behind him interesting and he’s personally one of my favorite characters! Man I really hope one day we could see an MCU take on him granted they come up with an unique storyline for him. Fernando where do you rank this new version of The Sentry power wise compared to his previous iterations?
This particular Sentry, as of now, doesn't have the feats of the others, but just given his status, he's easily the most powerful version of the character ! No mental illness to slow him down, full power of the void, full power of the sentry, a truly powerful character.

Have you ever heard of the Irredeemable comics? Well the protagonist, the Plutonian, was a Superman knock off hero turned villain. Near the end it was revealed that the reason he was so unbeatable was because he was a reality warper who just thought he had the powers of superman. In reality, he could warp reality as easily as Dr. Manhattan, but never realized it until near the end of the comics. That's the level of power Sentry has now. All it would take would be to practice and he would be literally unstopable.
I fully understand why Thor fans are angry, but you need to look who they are fighting against, a stable Sentry that merge with Void, his far far far above the likes of current Tho, hammer/arm or not, you need Rune Thor for a proper match against this version of Sentry, his pretty much broken power wise

I not a Thor fan but he definitely does not seem like himself since he was banished by The SJW and replaced by Foster. Now that he's back he seems so weak. First The Immortal Hulk cleans his clock easily and now The New Sentry shrugs him off with little effort. Win or lose, he would have given a much better fight in both fights. This newly formed group of Avengers on paper seems like the strongest incarnation yet but they've been getting whooped easily

Your most powerful beings on Earth are The Hulk at full power be it World Breaker or Immortal/Devil Hulk, Blue Marvel, Sentry with or without Void and Thor. If you merge the Void in with the Sentry or give him the celestrial tech called "The Death Seed" then you gotta upgrade Thor with the Odin Force and Rune Stones which makes him a serious problem. Despite what Marvel is trying to push because of her movie, Danvers is not the strongest, those four are and I don't know who's the strongest between them.
Eyeroll at some of you guys. Thor's nerfing came long before the so called "SJW" deal going on at Marvel right now. He's been wildly inconsistent ever since returning from Ragnarok. He's had a couple of moments here and there but he's been getting the shit end of the stick for a while now. Most newer, younger readers probably think he's a weakling compared to other heavy hitters. Marvel hasn't been proving them wrong lately either. The true low moment for me is Thor getting his head smashed by Hulk. -sigh- I stay tuned to this channel pretty much to find out when it will be good to read Thor again.

And notice how when they have crossover fights they often exclude Ghost Rider. This is supposed to be a very powerful team, but the writing for She Hulk hasn’t been consistent, Thor’s powerscaling hasn’t been the same since like 2013, and the current writers are ignoring Ghost Riders’ more OP abilities

Before Sentry became fused he was said to be omnipotent after his battle with the Molecule Man in which he discovered he could control molecules and apparently on a scale even Molecule Man couldn't contest so I don't see how anyone thought Thor could even hold a candle to this version. Thor over the years among other heroes has been outclassed by many. He's very strong but never hinted at as being omnipotent or anything close to it except maybe as King. So I would have to imagine this fused version of Sentry is on a level all his own in the current continuity. Even if he fought someone with comparable strength he could just manipulate their molecules or some other insane ability they want to give him he didn't know about lol

The void Handled the old glory days thor until Robert reverted back and begged thor to kill him because he was ashamed of what he had done and even when thor tossed him into the sun he didn't die so it comes to no surprise that this sentry who's fused with the void could do this to thor especially when this thor is a whimp compared to his old self.

He stalemated Galactus long before this. With the death seed he was stronger than Exitar the Exterminator (and that celestial was powerful as hell) and was actually able to carry him into deep space (did I mention that Exitar is 20 thousand feet tall? Imagine how much that sumbitch weighed and Death Seed Sentry lifted him with no problem). Pretty sure that now that Sentry is "complete" he might be stronger than he was with the death seed

everyone is talking about how Sentry “mopped the floor with the Avengers” or “Sentry wouldn’t be able to sweep like this!”, but like? he wasn’t really fighting: He was doing what most people do against heavy-hitters like Thor and blasting him away from the scene. Sentry was evading and avoiding, clearly not trying to hurt anyone. As shown with Cranio, Billy was the only one killed because he was unstable and melting down.

Sentry needs to be in MCU. It's going to be a hallmark movie if treated right like they have always done with other characters...but sentry need more care. I think Sentry is above Thor, so it makes sense that an amped Sentry beats him. In Remender's Uncanny Avengers, Thor was beaten by a dead seed Sentry. Althought Thor put a fight, he could not killed this version of the Sentry, which was able to lift a dead Exitar by himself. That being said, in those days Thor was not a bitch like he is now. In those, days he showed a lot of impressive feats. Now, however, he gets beaten by King Crab and Ursa Major (Aron Avengers # 10) and his hammer cannot withstand being in the Sun, which contradicts Aron's godbutcher saga and Hickman's Infinity, in which Thor threw Mjolnir to a star and nothing a happened to it. Also, he gets his skull fractured by one punch of immortal Hulk? I get the new Hulk is strong, but a dead seed Sentry going faster than light speed blitzed Thor, making him crash in a planet leaving a big crater. Thor was stunned but he wasn't knocked out. Further, he head butted the Silver Surfer, leaving a big dent in the surfer and hurting himself in the process, but kept on fighting. Well, maybe inmortal Hulk is that strong. Does not change the fact that Thor is being written poorly now. In his first issue, he was running from mortals with knifes in the temple of Cyttorak and he was afraid of wooden stakes. As long as Disney owns marvel comics, Thor is going to constantly keep getting shitted on people! We don't have to like it or get use to it but it is what it is. I recently have been reading articles and watching commentaries about today's comic book industry. half the people that work for either DC or Marvel have never read comics or are not serious fans. It is just a job to them. Gone are the days of John romita, Jack Kirby and especially Stan the man lee. These companies also have to be diversified in their hiring practices(Nothing wrong with that) but the people they hired have their own agendas and Ideas (remember the petition to make Captain America and Bucky gay?) and aren't concerned about comic books. Thor represents everything these groups despise nowadays, a strong white male. I am an African American and Indian and I have noticed this!! When I lived in Houston in the 90's there was this comic book store on westheimer and hill-croft I would frequent. I happened to know the owner really well and he mentioned that Thor was one of his hottest sellers especially among black men. His take was that we were a physically strong people (a tiny bit offensive but he apologized for his opinion) and to be honest,Thor was kicking ass and taking names back then! To see what these SJW's and Disney have done to Thor is a travesty. If they wanted to change Thor why not make him a black male? Hell to the naw with that one! Very interesting storyline for The Sentry! I’m really liking the idea of him and the void working together. He’s had some bad writing in the past but I’ve always found the idea behind him interesting and he’s personally one of my favorite characters! Man I really hope one day we could see an MCU take on him granted they come up with an unique storyline for him. Fernando where do you rank this new version of The Sentry power wise compared to his previous iterations?
This particular Sentry, as of now, doesn't have the feats of the others, but just given his status, he's easily the most powerful version of the character ! No mental illness to slow him down, full power of the void, full power of the sentry, a truly powerful character.

Have you ever heard of the Irredeemable comics? Well the protagonist, the Plutonian, was a Superman knock off hero turned villain. Near the end it was revealed that the reason he was so unbeatable was because he was a reality warper who just thought he had the powers of superman. In reality, he could warp reality as easily as Dr. Manhattan, but never realized it until near the end of the comics.
That's the level of power Sentry has now. All it would take would be to practice and he would be literally unstopable.
I fully understand why Thor fans are angry, but you need to look who they are fighting against, a stable Sentry that merge with Void, his far far far above the likes of current Tho, hammer/arm or not, you need Rune Thor for a proper match against this version of Sentry, his pretty much broken power wise

Before Sentry became fused he was said to be omnipotent after his battle with the Molecule Man in which he discovered he could control molecules and apparently on a scale even Molecule Man couldn't contest so I don't see how anyone thought Thor could even hold a candle to this version. Thor over the years among other heroes has been outclassed by many. He's very strong but never hinted at as being omnipotent or anything close to it except maybe as King. So I would have to imagine this fused version of Sentry is on a level all his own in the current continuity. Even if he fought someone with comparable strength he could just manipulate their molecules or some other insane ability they want to give him he didn't know about lol

He stalemated Galactus long before this. With the death seed he was stronger than Exitar the Exterminator (and that celestial was powerful as hell) and was actually able to carry him into deep space (did I mention that Exitar is 20 thousand feet tall? Imagine how much that sumbitch weighed and Death Seed Sentry lifted him with no problem). Pretty sure that now that Sentry is "complete" he might be stronger than he was with the death seed

everyone is talking about how Sentry “mopped the floor with the Avengers” or “Sentry wouldn’t be able to sweep like this!”, but like? he wasn’t really fighting: He was doing what most people do against heavy-hitters like Thor and blasting him away from the scene. Sentry was evading and avoiding, clearly not trying to hurt anyone. As shown with Cranio, Billy was the only one killed because he was unstable and melting down.
Everyone wants their favorite hero to stand a chance against a being who they think he or she is equally as powerful as Sentry. Sentry swatted away the avengers easily but the avengers still stood and none of them were hurt. Thor could have pursued him if he wanted to. But you also have to keep it in mind that this all new sentry is far more powerful than ever before now that he has merged with his 2 personalities especially void. At this point, i don't think Thor will last long against All new sentry because sentry is on a whole level of power base on the fact that the original writer of sentry considered sentry omnipotent and sentry has also contained the cosmic cube before. I don't think Thor has ever beaten sentry before, not even the hulk has legitimately defeated sentry before.
World breaker hulk was able to fight normal sentry but they did both decide to stop fighting so there wasn’t a clear winner

I think Sentry is above Thor, so it makes sense that an amped Sentry beats him. In Remender's Uncanny Avengers, Thor was beaten by a dead seed Sentry. Althought Thor put a fight, he could not killed this version of the Sentry, which was able to lift a dead Exitar by himself.
That being said, in those days Thor was not a bitch like he is now. In those, days he showed a lot of impressive feats. Now, however, he gets beaten by King Crab and Ursa Major (Aron Avengers # 10) and his hammer cannot withstand being in the Sun, which contradicts Aron's godbutcher saga and Hickman's Infinity, in which Thor threw Mjolnir to a star and nothing a happened to it. Also, he gets his skull fractured by one punch of immortal Hulk? I get the new Hulk is strong, but a dead seed Sentry going faster than light speed blitzed Thor, making him crash in a planet leaving a big crater. Thor was stunned but he wasn't knocked out. Further, he head butted the Silver Surfer, leaving a big dent in the surfer and hurting himself in the process, but kept on fighting. Well, maybe inmortal Hulk is that strong. Does not change the fact that Thor is being written poorly now. In his first issue, he was running from mortals with knifes in the temple of Cyttorak and he was afraid of wooden stakes. What about his godly durability?
I am not against Thor being beaten by stronger opponents, I am against him being portrayed like a jobber; like a bitch.

RKT almost killed them, RKT is also omniscient, tanked a hit from Mangog, destroyed Ragnarok, erased and restored Yaggdrails(stated to be a multiverse) etc. Also Sentry had help when he fought Galactus and we dont even know how strong Galactus was when Sentry fought him. Nerco Thor on the otherhand kicked the living shit out of Galactus, but like you said it depends on which Thor but RKT, Phoenix Thor, Nerco Thor are way too much for Sentry

Sentry was never on par with regular Thor, he was always superior, just THor is a big name in marvel universe and people are shocked when other characters defeat him so easily , most people still don't know what Sentry is fully capable, his is usually very underpowered in each issue he is portrayed so others have a chance, look at Hulk vs Sentry where he didn't even touch his molecule manipulation powers and hulk fans claim hulk beat him easy

The only reason Hulk can fight Sentry is, Hulk has Plot armor against Superman clones in Marvel, so when he fights anyone kinda like superman, if hulk is a good guy, he can fight them to a standstill or win. Thor would know that, since Hulk always seems to beat up on Thor.

As long as Disney owns marvel comics, Thor is going to constantly keep getting shitted on people! We don't have to like it or get use to it but it is what it is. I recently have been reading articles and watching commentaries about today's comic book industry. half the people that work for either DC or Marvel have never read comics or are not serious fans. It is just a job to them. Gone are the days of John romita, Jack Kirby and especially Stan the man lee. These companies also have to be diversified in their hiring practices(Nothing wrong with that) but the people they hired have their own agendas and Ideas (remember the petition to make Captain America and Bucky gay?) and aren't concerned about comic books. Thor represents everything these groups despise nowadays, a strong white male. I am an African American and Indian and I have noticed this!! When I lived in Houston in the 90's there was this comic book store on westheimer and hill-croft I would frequent. I happened to know the owner really well and he mentioned that Thor was one of his hottest sellers especially among black men. His take was that we were a physically strong people (a tiny bit offensive but he apologized for his opinion) and to be honest,Thor was kicking ass and taking names back then! To see what these SJW's and Disney have done to Thor is a travesty. If they wanted to change Thor why not make him a black male? Hell to the naw with that one! The mighty Thor probably would have been the number one comic for the next 20 years. No they wanted to emasculate and destroy this character period. They want to tear down beloved characters period, plain and simple. Superman and batman are next. like I said, by people who don't even read comics
