Jesus the Doomsday Clock issue series really drives home how powerful Doctor Manhattan truly is. Literally the entirety of the DC Universe's heroes fight Doctor Manhattan and he deals with them with ease. When they blow up his body, he easily regenerates it. When the magical user's blast him, he throws their own power right back at them. Doctor Manhattan is definitely one of the MOST POWERFUL beings in the DC universe.
He's " experimenting" with this universe timelines. For example he'll move Superman's baby rocket ship to a different location and watch as this world continues on with these change of events. Because at the end superman is always Superman. Wally West noticed things weren't right and so did reverse flash. Since he's screwing with everyones lives and destiny, this makes him the bad guy.
All of the superheroes are here because Superman was attacked and they found out that the attacker (-Dr Manhattan) is on Mars. Since this was a international incident everyone showed up and Guy attack when he found out he attack Superman because he’ll think he will destroy him. E T firestorm had attempted to take out some super villains in Russia however due to a conspiracy that all superheroes are made by the us government the Russian people attacked firestorm forcing him to meltdown and transform them to glass. Superman and firestorm returned to talk things out with Putin angry at the situation stating this is an attack from the US, amongst the situation Manhattan attacks by mimicking what firestorm did from Mars, making him detectable by earth superheroes and here we are
its sad that this comic was not focused on battles, and kept them short because of limited length. Captain atom should have lasted longer against manhattan, and the battle would be way more interesting. However, cpt atom would lose. It is clear even from his latest comics that he is infact a weaker version of dr manhattan.

Not exactly. In the universe that the infinity stones are a part of, They give complete mastery over the 6 different aspects of the universe. That means compete mastery over time, space, reality, mind, soul and power. Even if manhattan can match every single stone, there's still the time stone there to stop him. The wielder can simply turn back time for him and turn him into a mortal again. He is indeed strong. But time is obviously a limit he has, which the infinity gauntlet doesn't. In the Freezer Well I don't think it's a fair comparison. Dr. Manhattan created an entire Universe/Continuity. Thanos couldn't do that with the Infinity Gauntlet. He needs the HOTU for that.

Well, he never was all that powerful in the Watchmen graphic novel. He was basically Captain Atom - only Moore couldn't get the rights to the DC characters. Really powerful, sure, but nothing special when compared to cosmic entities. He was a really powerful matter manipulator. Anyone with reality warping or time travel could beat him. But people kept hyping him, and now the writers have adjusted his powers to equal that of his hype.

Luke Wilson No, there are tons of characters stronger than Dr. Manhattan. A regular angel could kill him. True Darkseid could kill him. The Anti-Monitor in infinite crisis could kill him. Superboy Prime could kill him. Sodam Yat Could kill him. The Endless could kill him. The Monitors could kill him. Monarch could kill him. You don’t even need the top twenty strongest entities to even mention of beating Dr. Manhattan since he is a lot weaker than many.
The thumbnail is one of my gripes with comics. A blast that would knock back certain characters would outright kill some others, but they all experience it equally. It’s ludicrous that they’ve not evolved past this particular trope.

Jesus the Doomsday Clock issue series really drives home how powerful Doctor Manhattan truly is. Literally the entirety of the DC Universe's heroes fight Doctor Manhattan and he deals with them with ease. When they blow up his body, he easily regenerates it. When the magical user's blast him, he throws their own power right back at them. Doctor Manhattan is definitely one of the MOST POWERFUL beings in the DC universe.

That means compete mastery over time, space, reality, mind, soul and power. Even if manhattan can match every single stone, there's still the time stone there to stop him. The wielder can simply turn back time for him and turn him into a mortal again. He is indeed strong. But time is obviously a limit he has, which the infinity gauntlet doesn't.

Superboy Prime could kill him. Sodam Yat Could kill him. The Endless could kill him. The Monitors could kill him. Monarch could kill him.
You don’t even need the top twenty strongest entities to even mention of beating Dr. Manhattan since he is a lot weaker than many.

The thumbnail is one of my gripes with comics. A blast that would knock back certain characters would outright kill some others, but they all experience it equally. It’s ludicrous that they’ve not evolved past this particular trope.
