Not making latios and latias both special illustration rares is so dumb. Favoring just one of two Pokémon specifically designed to be a pair doesn’t make any sense.

@@meatshielder4515 those should have been the same too but at least it’s more reasonable for one to get a special treatment in that case. Latios and latias are specifically a pair of legendary Pokémon so making them different is lame. The Perrin and growlithe are also vertically oriented so it’s not as noticeable. Going from no texture to texture when they’re side by side doesn’t look as nice.

Yuriko Akase looks like a traditional artist, which is always nice to see! Watercolour and coloured pencil I think? I don't like Alolan Exeggutor at all but I really want that SIR, the colours are so pretty.
Oh yeah, I'm going to be getting the eggsecute and exeggutor! I'm still wanting a cool AR rattacate and rattatta.

I love the panoramic image the latias and laito create but as someone who will be completing the master set it bugs the hell out of me that 1 is 70/64 and the other is 87/64
Pulled Perrin and Growlithe in the first and only box I bought, along with the full art evee, cashed in all my luck at once

@@PokeFangOfficial I think the Shrouded Fable luck will pay off more in the long run; the low drop rate + small size of the set + time = value. Still chasing the Persian

The Latios AR imo is way better than the latias SAR that shoulda been an SAR as well. Still prefer that one.
Yea, even though they are done by the same artist, I think the perspective on Latinos is more appealing

Really hope exeggutor gets an alt art or something, really cant stand any of the terra type pokemon cards
Just curious since I hear that a lot of people dislike the Tera types, what is it about Tera that you dislike most?
@PokeFangOfficial i would just prefer a good clean artwork, the gimmick in the games are fun enough, but the big goofy hat thing and the crystal polygon design is just distracting from the rest of the artwork (not only distracting for that card, but distracting from any other card on that page in my illustration rare binder of the original 151)
Latios and Latias are meh in my opinion. And I’m a huge fan of cards that come together to form a bigger pic. They just ain’t doin it for me.
