London to Athens 2021 by bike | Stage 1 | London - Copenhagen

In 2021, post-lockdown, I decided to quit my job, get on my bike and cycle as far as I could. My first ever bike tour! I have put together some videos of this adventure - enjoy!
The journey was over 5000km a combination of solo and accompanied ride from London to Athens via Copenhagen and everything in between. 🚴

465km bus (unplanned...)

This was the first ride of my first cycle tour and it proved very difficult despite being incredibly flat... It was a beautiful ride on which we learnt some valuable lessons - the main one being:
'don't cycle 140km on the first day, fully loaded, without training....'
Thank you Timmy Whitehouse for being an awesome cycling partner (and for carrying all of my gear when my knees stopped working...)
