This monster first appeared in Episode 2 of the series, "The Man Who Created SKaRD" which aired just last year. This is a fun coincidence, I was just searching for ultraman blazar kaiju, to introduce myself to the ultra series and gedos was one of the ones I liked the look of!

Back when people were guessing Blazar was New-Gen Nexus, Gedos' lure gimmick made me think he would use it to grab humans to eat, much like Golgolem's extending mouth

So fun fact, there’s one cameo that you (only technically) missed! At GenCon 2024 they released a set of promo packs for the upcoming Ultraman trading card game, and had a small demo deck that had a Blazar set. The scene card for that is the battle with Gedos! Don’t know if it counts because it’s not officially releasing til October, but I’ve got my hands on them!
Worked with Kisen on designing an original monster back in 2021. Very friendly and SUPER creative. It was his dream to be able to create a monster for the Ultraman series, so naturally he was over the moon to share Gedos on his social media profiles when Gedos was officially revealed. Really happy for him. Would love to work with him again one of these days because his kaiju art style is awesome!

My opinion Ultraman Blazar series is most created new kaiju ever and main reason why so many fans like because tired reuse pass kaiju. Although they many scene violence but high rating same King Ohger and Kamen Rider Geats in 2023 -2024

Muruchi will always be my fave icthyoid based kaiju, but this one is pretty cool as well! Years ago, I created my own Yapool choju I named "King Fishasaurus" a chimera creature with body parts of a catfish, frog, and anglerfish, the anglerfish 'lure' on his head can emit an intense blast of photons that burn and blind the eyes of any foe.

Hey Professor, I plan on starting my own channel to talk about niche B-Movies from the 60s-90s.
I'm using the editing program Flimora (which is very good) but was wondering if you had any editing tips or tricks.
I did a kind of a rough draft of an edit and it feels so basic and honestly it's something I wouldn't watch. I'm hoping to elevate my editing game so I can actually make some entertaining content.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I got that Gedos toy, originally I was going to get Bazanga but he was currently unavailable, but I loved the gedo's episode too(loved blazar as a whole) so got him instead.
I was watching ultraman blazar but i couldn't find english audio.so i had to watch all episodes in Japanese. Which i did not understand.but now i understand this episode much since you explained in clearly in english

Fun fact vaguely related to this video the clash of the titans movie put the kraken in despite the kraken being from Norse mythology the creature that should be in the story of perseus is the cetus
I feel kind of bad for this kaiju. It was just a big animal that was driven to its actions by starvation.
