CAUTION! The statement regarding compatibility with Mac OS 10.x is misleading. The Magic Keyboard 2 only offers limited compatibility with a version of Mac OS lower than 11.x. Volume keys and the Fn key will not work at all, and the keyboard wont even report its battery charge level on Mac OS 10.x. Thanks, Apple!
May I know what's the diameter of K380 alphabet keys? It's ~1.6cm for Macbook keyboard, at 0:44 the K380 keys seems a bit smaller than the Magic Keyboard's but I'm not very sure. Thanks.
hey mindy! i myself, an avid lover of apple design-- chose the logitech k380 for my personal use. first off, i would have been fine buying into the apple hype machine since magic keyboards tend to have a really good build and longevity. what deterred me from the magic keyboard is the compatibility: the newer models seem to not want to play nice with macs from as early as 2019 and only pair with apple silicon devices, which is just inconveniencing since we are only two years into M1. besides the seamless device switching, the price was also a huge factor. i could get a porsche to do the same things a honda will do, so the $30 vs $100-something price tag was a no-brainer for me. I can easily throw the Logitech into my bag without worry, let my friends use it on their various devices, and its an easy replacement in case i lose it. logitech: pleaseeeee make a sexy keyboard like apple that doesnt cost a quarter of the computer!!
Hi,Apple website says that it is compatible for ipad but on another autorized apple seller it says only for mac. Are there multiple magic keyboard 2 like for ipad or for mac? I need for ipad😊

its about being more receptive i like the key travel on the k380, it is slightly more deeper than the shallow and hoolow magic , there is also a ver satisfying crunch at the bootom of the keystroke, it is also what makes me feel the kying on k380 is much more slower.and definitely much more give on the keys in general, shaky keys, not horrible ut is noticebale especially if one in not a 10 finger typer.
Hi! Are the function keys working properly on both keyboards? I’ve just bought an Apple Magic Keyboard with numbers pad and only brightness and media controls are working. I can’t use the volume keys when connected to a monitor (usb c/ hdmi) and the mute key is not working at all, connected or not. Also “home”, “end”, “clear”, “esc” and eject are not working with the iPad (I understand you have the keyboard without numbers but if you have some info…). Than you very much and congratulations for your videos
hi ! i wanted to ask if you think its worth it "upgrading" from the k380 keyboard to the new pop keys ? i wanted to try a wireless mechanical keyboard that looks absolutely nice, so i placed an order without thinking too much about it ... until now. most of the complains ive seen was about the circular keycaps ,, but as ive been using the k380 for almost 6 months now, i dont think it would be much of an issue for me ! what do you think ?

You probably want to look into "Logitech MX Keys Mini for Mac" -- that one is the closest competitor to the Magic Keyboard in terms of looks. :)

i use the non-mac version of the k380 & you will see almost all my videos I use an iPad, so yup it works.

You better ask Apple directly, because it’s strange it’s not compatible with iPad 9th gen, but compatible with the 8th, 7th, 6th…🤔
