Oppenheimer - Trailer Music [HQ Trailer Edit]

- This is the full music playing in the recent trailer for Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer". As always, it's coming directly from the trailer, with some volume balancing applied.
I don't have a definitive confirmation on who produced the track yet, but while Cavalry Music seems to have had some involvement in the trailer and GrooveWorx confirmed that they contributed sound design, it seems most likely that the main piece here is from Ludwig Göransson's work on the original score for the movie - which also aligns well with previous Nolan trailers. Whether this means at least a version of this track is going to get a public release remains to be seen.

Hello, Grooveworx trailers has also worked on the track (probably sfx). Do you which Really Slow Motion/ Giant apes tracks were used on the quantumania campaign? They have it listed but only wrote they did “a few synths”
Sencit music also has made something for oppenheimer but I dont know for which trailer

Quantumania: Don't recall any specifics, it's been a while since the campaign. May have just been some of their sound design, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they also had some music featured.
As for Sencit on Oppenheimer, can't find any specifics about it.

In my opinion, it vaguely resembles the second one, *the destroyer of worlds*
I have to say it reminds me of the Tenet score more than anything else, but that piece was certainly used in Universal's "Opening Look" promo released last week.
However, Universal also just released a Score featurette that pretty much seems to confirm in the end that this is a piece from the score. :D
Indeed! Sadly enough, just watched the movie yesterday (in Imax!) and I can confirm that this « remix » was nowhere to be found.
@@theaudiotrailerdetective Honestly I kind of suspected that, it would need quite a scene to fit in the edit. But it may still show up in the released score, maybe as a bonus track, or maybe just in the scoring sessions that aren't officially released to the public.
@@ThatDudeRightThere Well the album has been released with no sign of it, maybe they’ll release it in a « Deluxe » version of the album.

Hey i’ve noticed you mostly upload trailers but are you also able to do TV spots (for movies)? In mu opinion they get way to often forgotten, and since they are shorter to edit if you upload more often smaller spots I think that your channel could have a big subscriber growth. Anyways exited for the marvels music!
Since I have to rely on usable source files and those are usually only available for theatrical trailers, not really an option. To be honest I don't think it would be as interesting anyway. By nature something like a :30 spot is usually so heavily cut down that there rarely is a sense of a coherent track anymore. There are exceptions, like one of the Shape of Water spots a few years back, but usually I don't think it would be worth the trouble. Besides, it's often just rhythmic Sound Design or a shorter version of the main trailer's music anyways.

And have you thought about the official across the spider-verse trailer? It’s custom music by totem. Or the second Oppenheimer trailer (since it looks like you are interestes into the movie) do you at least know about a good 5.1 mix rip out there?

Hey, I have a question, how did you remove the big thunderous explosion sound at the beginning? After looking closer at the 5.1 mix, al the channels seem to have the explosion sound. Do you use a source other than the digital theater?

Thanks! I don't think I will do that one, it seems to be a mix of Zimmer's OST and the existing piece from the second Dune (Part 1) trailer, which I think I remember was done by Two Steps From Hell (I cant find much about it now though, so maybe I'm misremembering) based again on the OST.
I am working to get some other stuff out very soon(TM) though which has been a long time coming.

Neither have I, I'm afraid. :/ Since I believe that was an online-only release it seems likely that it was mixed for stereo only.

@@ThatDudeRightThere Probably made a mistake, but if I could help you, I think that the track was made by Goransson. I might sound a bit weird, but there is a belgian tv show called “De Mol”, in which they used the track, and from the rest of the series they only license official film Sountracks (black panther’s, Dora Milaje theme, Star wars show Andor’s B2-emo and the theme from back to the future), so that’s what I could find. Hope it helps you!
