3:23 When you buy a new production all types of production in that building start off activated. As you can see on your production page the barley oat and sorghum got a red dot next to it, that means it's active but got no materials. While it's active it will cost you money while producing nothing.
So you should always deactivate whatever production you don't have any materials for.
can all the recipes product at the same time? i built a biogas plant i have silage.. can it process manure at the same time? or just let it process silage for maximum profit?

Mine is deactivated but i can activate it again. Do you know how I can activate it?
@@seppie2945 When you select a production you can look at the bottom of the screen, it will tell you wich button to press to activate it.
I think Giants should have some type of restaurant or pizza delivery as a production chain. It would utilize oil, flour, produce, cheese etc and could be used as a transport mission as well.

After getting into FS22 on PS5, I found myself really wishing GIANTS had placed the ‘flow chart’ graphic of the Production Chains somewhere within the game itself - perhaps in the “Help” section. I can’t believe it’s not there (IF it IS, I haven’t been able to find it). It’s VERY frustrating to me to say the least! I can’t imagine how we are expected to know all of this & have it all memorized in our head - with no ‘reference’ to it anywhere to view in-game. I’d certainly love to see GIANTS add this in somewhere in an update/patch ASAP!
I can’t get over how satisfying it is sending a worker to deliver your crop, then wait for them to come back for more 😄 I was giggling like a schoolgirl just watching 🤣

I think the distribution option works as "virtual storage" instead of creating pallets if there isn't a next step in the chain
how to withdraw from the virtual storage?
@@Daniel-xv3nw Change the output to storing and the pallets will appear until the spawn area is full. If you want to stop more pallets change back to distribution (make sure you click twice to get past the selling option)

If you wanna play like super realistic, you could own the production chains & do contracts.. You'll get paid from the said contract & you'll get some of the grain which you can then use through whatever chain you own. 😁 Awesome 👌 content MrSealyP Looking forward to next live stream. 🎮
Straightforward process, just a bit of "dwell" before the distribution system kicks in.

I take my hats off to giants. From when productions first landed on fs19 with the shared animal pens to this fully immersive production chain. Wow
I think that was productions mods on FS15 and FS17 before than FS19...🙂
Interesting little insight into how the Production Chains work, no doubt there will be updates and fixes to some of the "loose ends" there seem to be but over all it seems like a solid start! It's going to be interesting to see where these go with mods and official updates, from new and different processes to farm shops that sell on finished products over time and much more!

Hi, I'm a bit miffed about having the own the building in order to do productions, because I was pretty sure that when Giants was talking about production chains over the summer, they had made it seem like you would not need to own the building, but rather you could remain a farmer and not also Mr. Property Baron, and drop off your products and let the production chain know what you want to do with the product. I just looked up said information from this summer and it does indeed say "Get your production chains started in Farming Simulator 22! And don’t stop with selling the wheat after harvesting. Instead, deliver it to the grain mill, so it gets processed into fine flour and bring it to the local bakery. Then, you decide what they’ll do with it!" My question, if I may, is there a way to relay this to Giants and find out if there will eventually be an option to remain the farmer and not also the owner of the factories?

I love this! I hope we get concrete and steel production added down the road. Concrete, Steel, and Lumber being needed for construction and expanding land. Would love to market those on a multiplayer platform. Would be cool.

I've never played this series before, but it looks fun...this production chain bit reminds me of Transport Fever 2...start at the end, then work your way backward; get the bakery, then the mill, then ship from the farm kind of thing so all the buildings know where to send stuff. Looks fun!

Hello! I've been loving all the new videos! You sure are posting a lot of information quickly. Could you also do a basic video for how to get the best yield on crops in fs22? I'm curious about the proximity of the beehives, stone collecting, seasons, any other changes to the normal growing process, and what has remained the same. Thanks!
When you started the canola oil factory and got the bakery you was on time 0.5 and probably because of that it took time for the game to update the flour delivery
When you were changing your output modes on the factory, I didnt see the buttons that you were using and watching you change the settings. Well I kept watching and finally saw the changes.
Thats awesome. But need a curtain trailer with the forklift ramp an tranport it with you to move your production around to sale .
Invest in a forklift to leave at factorys , costly but most sites will have one . Factory should come with one when purchased imo
@@chilli-dog8435 early fs19 they did have a trailer that you could drive it on the back of the trailer with folding ramps . But it disappeared.

1 thing that i think alot of ppl have on there minds is is it profitable enough to be worth selling cake? I myself havent seen any prices on it yet but considering the amount of ingridients and buildings u would need to make it all yourself there better be a VERY big payout for it. Regarding the bakery issue i think the devs said something like that the delivery transport wont be instant and could take a moment. at 14:31 there is 1,403L of bread then later at 14:48 it´s down to 428L so 1000L was taken away. Not sure if he did a big cut or where the 500L of that 1000L went as the bakery only showed around 500L when it was back and running so it kinda looked like 400-500L of flour went missing there. The game probadly needs a moment to recognize that this building is now yours and can now be used in the auto delivery function.

Amazing video really shows exactly how it's done. The only thing I would add is from what I've heard from Giants, if you pick distributing it charges you a fee because they are doing the work compared to if you transport it yourself. I have no idea how much this is however.

I think the Oil distributing is just a placeholder feature because it allows for storing of good without spitting out pallets

It needs a little bit of tweaking on my tv but I am pleasantly surprised.
The build mode en slot wise is fantastic.

At the oil mill it will be interesting to see how the A.I. reacts when trying to unload when there are pallets in the storage area.
Hi, I've noticed on FS22 when you lease something it does not give the complete breakdown of the leasing details as on FS19. There is no mention of the amount you are charged after the first hour or day. So to help things along I've done the calculations based on the FS19 values which are the same on both games.
Example A Mower priced at £18,000, Lease cost £918
per day = 918 x 19.5% = £179
per hour = 918 x 41% = £376.38 ( this is how the calculator shows it ).
Take the value up to the Dec.point only £376.
This works the same if calculating in 1,000s. Just take the whole lease value eg
2345 NOT 2,345 then do the calculation as above.
The values are Approx. to the real listed value but give a good idea.
The csz pack and step deck trailers are two mods from 19 that i hope come to 22 cuz they would be awsome to have for use with productions

Great vid and great guide, thanks Mr SealyP. The game runs better on ps5 than I expected or gave them credit for. As of Sunday night before launch day, some people are saying that their preorders have started and some have completed installation but many of them are complaining about the add-ons are causing their games to either crash or not load up. I believe these are all PC players.
I'm on ps4 and the game runs good. But the add-ons do not appear in the game although they're downloaded.
@@maxtrein532 that could be a problem across all platforms. Giants have been pretty reactive to complaints and reports, it wouldn't surprise me if they do a day 1 patch. Fingers crossed for you guys

1:50 the size of that wheat texture is concerningly huge 😂 Also it seemed like if you have it set to distributing but you don’t own the next line in the chain for it to go to, then it doesn’t leave the current factory until you own the next factory in the chain, so I don’t think we need to worry about it vanishing into space.
Also you said about leaving the menus to get it kickstarted as such, but that’s not necessary either because it actually changed by 1000L whilst you were still in the menu, it think it just took a while because you were on 0.5x speed. So basically every time it processes 1 litre of product, that’s when it will add 1000L to the next production chain if you have a load built up from before you bought the next chain
I hope someone mods in byproducts. Ground oil seeds should be usable as pig food. Seeds from processing grapes should be usable as a feedstock for oil. Plant oils should be processable into soap and biodiesel. I get why there's no alcoholic beverages but you should be able to make barley malt syrup at the sugar plant.
alcohol would put the rating up, they probably want that E rating. I expect alcohol to be a early mod. Would also be neat to see hops with the vine system.

Great video. I'm curious what the production ratios are. For example how much wheat does it take to create 1 pallet of flour. And then how much Flour does it take to produce 1 pallet of bread. I know that flour sells for a higher price than wheat, and bread is higher than flour, but is it actually more profitable to make flour and bread in the end, than it is to sell the grain outright? Kind of like chickens on fs19. Where you're basicly better off selling the wheat and barley, instead of feeding it to the chickens to get eggs.

Cycles per hour is just how many times per hour the base resource is converted to the final product. Say 200 fabric becomes 47 clothes, 5 cycles an hour then you will get 235 clothes and use 1000 fabric in an hour. I haven't done any testing for accuracy but it seems like it's just a way to quantify the production rate.
(I suck at math, so don't bother checking, it's probably wrong lol)
It takes forever, 6 IRL days to produce 1000 (one pallet) if time is ser 1x speed

Distributing Bread makes sense, you can own a restaurant or a supermarket as far as i saw
Potentially distribution is allowed for everything, as there is the possibility to add mod production facilities - say potato chip factory, which takes as an input canola oil and potatoes - now you'd have somewhere to distribute your canola oil to??
Should also note that distributing in the game will "store" the product to be distributed then transfer it on the hour to the next production in line

So I guess once you buy the building you can no longer sell grain there. What's interesting and I've yet to try it. Is if you own the building and a contract needs to be delivered there. Do you keep that grain also.
How many pallets will each place hold for you, if you have it set on store? Would have to keep an eye an it and move the pallets or will it store all the pallets. Also is there a place to buy the ingredients if I don't have them IE straw berries ect. Cant wait for part 2.

Can you, as a "money hack". Sell at a production point, then buy the production point to sell the refined product for more money?

What I’m curious about is if you own all the facilities to make cakes, if one of the ingredients is not available, will the bakery make bread automatically instead of holding the flour until the other ingredients are delivered?
