Exploring A New Fishing Mark For Rays | Shore Fishing UK

Well, it seems like it's that time of year again and I have a couple of sessions where i fish for Thornback Rays. I met up with ‪@fullcircleangling‬ and we headed to a stretch of coastling hoping to find a new mark that produces.

Brought up on tilley lamps, then achor, after that a Coleman, still have Coleman and north star, plus some battery ones, not winter fishing without the hiss

Oh mate soo happy to see you out with David. In my opinion one of the best british casters on TH-cam.
Ive been up to the Mull of Galloway twice this year so far and haven't managed to land anything. Went and had a go off Andys little step up at the lighthouse but no joy sadly.
Didnt mind as it was just so peacefull, did a load of exploring round the headland at Loch Ryan and found some marks for spring.
All the best for this year Nathan, getting a SIB soon so hopefull see you out on the water.

If it's any consolation, I fished the same tide from the point on the Balcary side of the bay and had naff all as well. Had the same thought as you... should have headed for flat rock 😂 nice video nonetheless 👍
