This is honestly a great remaster of the emperors theme, wish they could've given the same treatment to Magicians theme aswell but oh well, eitherway this is AMAZING!
Funniest thing is that in an Arcade you can't hear the voice acting, and the loudest parts are both music and SFX. For all I knew, as a kid, this game was terrifying as hell! 😂
I took some artistic liberties for this song when it came to the extra sounds and instruments. Originally, there is no organ after the intro, nor any changing vocals. I think these few instruments really added to the arrangement 😃

Initially I hoped to make some high level orchestral stuff, but the problem is that I can't name all the instruments that I keep hearing. I end up going through every single preset instrument in hopes I'll find the right one 🤣 So either I'm stuck doing some basic synth stuff, or nothing at all. After a while, the music on my head fades out of memory, lost forever. Are you self taught, or did you take any training for music production?
I have been educated in Music Theory since I was 8, and Sound Engineering since 14, so I have been working on mystic my entire life hahaha. Unfortunately, to play classical music, one DOES need to learn the rules and the definitions to be able to compose properly (of course, there’s many case of the opposite, but it’s better to learn, than to experience at times) Also, thanks to the HOD3 Remasters I made, I have been getting very proficient at transcribing music in general. That’s why I am able to make my music faithful, while adding things here and there 😃

There's no music theory, he'd write down some scores from his book, in chapters, each with a different set of notes with a variety of sequences. I was quite good despite having no idea what I was doing lmao, I could play the keyboard too but I wasn't really into this kind of music so I gave up after a few years. Modern music and orchestra was where my mind was always at. I'm a huge fan of Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman. I'm a sucker for old video game soundtracks. So I was always humming music. Often I'd just make up stuff in my head and sometimes I'd be hella impressed with myself 🤣. Sadly I don't know all the technical terms, so it's really hard to translate what I'm actually thinking. Years later I took one course in university called Art Appreciation, and it suddenly made me realize that my old master was teaching me music theory all along 😂. I just didn't know it.
