A journey through my mind - Album Review Thought it would be funny to make a "review" of this album since you wanted to hear an opinion on each and every track. By doing this, i'm not trying to act professional, i just thought that this would be nice opportunity to make this kind of review. :) 1. Cold and Grey - Athmospheric intro, nicely rises tension as it goes on. 2. Liquid - Blends nicely to the previous track, an athmospheric and nice rythmic sounding beats. 3. Galaxies - As much as i like these heavy hitting drums, they somehow make the other instruments sound a bit too empty and quiet. 4. Synapse - Didn't really had high hopes on this one when i heard the preview, but DAAAAMN the main lead on first drop made my mouth wide open, also the second drop with the nice arp is pure gold! Love this song! 5. Breathe - Back to the more chilled and athmospheric sounds, very relaxing song as the title kind of implies. 6. Passion - Nice beats and composing, also liking the piano going on the background. 7. Tagtraum - As a huge trance fan, this was a nice surprise, very relaxing and easy going song, at least for me! 8. Blue Echoes - Of all songs on the album, this gave me the biggest Arkasia-feeling, cool beats going on here! 9. Deep Space - Not really into trap music, i like the "breathy" vocal chops on the background, but as a whole this song was not my piece of cake. 10. On My Own - Interesting song, kinda blends Hard Dance and Old School Dubstep, really like the composing on this one! 11. Paths - Gets a lot better in the second drop when the arp came in, not really much to say about the first half. 12. Fernweh - Perfect ending for the album! Don't know why the last song is always the top notch every time. I really like structure on this one, long intro and one climax instead of short intro, two drops and one breakdown. Also towards the end this song got me feeling pretty sad for some reason, and that's not only because the album was going to end. Stunning píece! This album was great and all the songs sounded different, while still remaining the unique Animadrop sounds. The songs were greatly composed and you must have really taken your time on making all these drum beats. I was personally expecting a bit more energic tracks, as much as i like the chill sounds. While the sounds were versatile, the chilly mood kind of kept the same phase through the album. Is it a bad thing? Not really, but as i said i kind of expected more energic sounding tracks. But well, it's just my opinion, for a chill lover this would be pure gold! My personal favourites would be: Synapse, Tagtraum and Fernweh! As a score i'll give this album 8,5/10, and wishing the good luck. I'm looking forward to your future releases for sure! Until next time! Oh, and btw, i just wanted to ask Animadrop that, isn't there no better way to start off a year than to end the last one with a full lenght LP? :D
