- Chinese DF4B diesel locomotives working on the high speed railway near Bandung. At least five of the locomotives were imported to Indonesia for this huge project. A pair of them are seen here in push-pull formation dropping ballast from Chinese K13AK class rapid discharge hoppers. Locomotives seen here are DF4B 1295 (Dalian) and DF4B 9129 (Ziyang).
Location is approximately 6°57'38.40"S 107°36'25.72"E where the line follows the Padaleunyi toll road in Bandung near the southern suburb of Bojongsoang.

Coming soon Indonesia 🇲🇨 high speed railway ,2023... 350km/h
that's a classic!
Great video of chinese trains in Indonesia
Why aren't they using ballastless?
That is an excellent question and I'm not sure why they've gone down this path. Possibly $$$
@@petesworldrailwayvideos they do use ballastless, the ballast part is only about 20-30 km, and the rest is ballastless. The reason why they use ballast was that the range for the last 2 stations is not that far, therefore the train doesn't need to travel at maximum speed on that particular section.
Lol, China is selling out it's old trains to poor and less powerful countries 😂
Not exactly, the project is built by Chinese consortium. These will remain in Indonesia until the project is finished. Usually they are sent back to China once work is complete.
The train in video is for construction only
Jika negara anda kaya lalu kenapa tidak punya kereta cepat dan kalah dari indonesia yang miskin?
