G'day Mike. Great to hear from you and thanks for the feedback. I realise the vid may be a tad on the basic side, but I did this for the noob that has never used CAD before. I plan to make more videos this year and upload once a week or fortnight. Cheers bud ;-)
Might seem basic from the position we're in now, but I sure could have used that back when I first started using fusion. I avoided it most of the first year just because the basics were not very intuitive. :)
Aaron, thanks for explaining the basic fundamentals of using Fusion, now I know how to edit features, makes it easier to correct the drawing ( I use it a lot). pointing out small details mean a lot and you have done that very well, thank you. I noticed that you are an R/C helicopter modeler, I flew my first Schluter helicopter in 1969. Cheers. John
Hello John. So glad you enjoyed the video and that you got something out of it. This is my way of giving back. Fusion 360 is a fantastic program and we are so lucky that a company like Autodesk gives it to us (teachers, students & hobbyists) for free. Great to hear that you're an RC helicopter enthusiast, I started flying RC planes as a child but only got serious as an adult back in the mid 90's. Great talking with you :) Aaron.
Good intro, I am new to 360 1 week into it, also I am 63 yrs old so I am a little slow I was able to follow you and the key strokes I am using a Mac so a little different to windows looking forward to more Cheers!!
G'day buddy. Thanks for watching my tutorials. You may find some slight differences with my examples and the latest release of Fusion 360. As I did these tutorials over a year ago and fusion is constantly evolving. Feel free to complete some more, I've got plenty in my Fusion360 CAD playlist. Cheers, Aaron.
DCTTeacher1 that would be great Aaron. Some of the TH-cam tutorials are too complicated and long. Simple building blocks is much more digestible. Thanks again
Thank you so much for you kind words. It's replies like yours why I continue to upload videos to TH-cam. I intend to keep uploading Fusion 360 videos regularly. Have a wonderful day. Warm regards, Aaron
Hey Scott. Nah buddy, the Mac's still perfect and firing on all cylinders. This new little acer laptop is departmental issue. So I thought I'd give it a try with a couple of videos. OK, next upload will be from the Mac. You watch the better quality ha ha ha. Cheers mate
Cheers Aaron. An excellent intro to Fusion 360.
Thanks Rucio. New Fusion 360 video coming this Friday. Episode 2 will explain the revolve function. Cheers mate, Aaron.
