Yes yes yes .now this is 🎶 with vocals u could clearly understand unlike these artists today be whining and mumbling. I was in Mannheim Germany in the military when this track came out. Went to a roller skating ring in hiedelburg and dance my butt off. Dam near everyone just got to the sides and watched me do my thing. The bass in there was on point as well. Grew up in bklyn NY and every Thursday and Saturday night we hit up the roller ring on empire blvd. Oh those where the days, oh and no shootings. Everyone went home alive unlike todays idiots.
Yeah, Angela totally outclassed Rene vocally. But I still feel these two had better musical chemistry than Angela had with Ron Isley. Another musical story that was ended prematurely by egos...
she is a class act but they could not stand the professional of this lady i speak to her on twitter very professional caring and wants to give blessings by the Grace of God when i was sick she pray for me i was so thankful she tweeted me back God Bless Spiritual Angela Winbush but Ron Isley remain friends too this day
@@Kevin198898 YES! I saw her in concert some years ago and she gave her testimony; had everybody crying! She is very spiritual, just a beautiful soul inside and out!!!!
@@A1NYCBKLYNGIRL-tc5ot Yeah, they do.. There's videos on TH-cam of people at roller rinks across the country.. Ex.: Have you ever seen Usher roller skating before?
That's a video no roller skate rinks exist anymore they've band them because of the violence that happened awhile back so they don't have any of them open anymore and you know that you're just pretending like you don't know you know exactly what's going on ain't nothing slow about you.
@A1lwayright-tc5ot Either you didn't do your research -- or you're just trying to troll.. This back and forth is SILLY.. I'm not even gonna argue, bro..
If they had gone to London and did The UK Version of Soul Train or even Top Of The Pops (That The Jacksons, Jets, & Nu Schooz) did, they would have bought the house down.
I hear you. Angela Winbush's 'Unsung' episode back in 2010 revealed a lot. Ronald Isley is a much better singer, but IMHO Angela did her most meaningful music while she was paired with the weaker voiced Rene. They have enough hit singles together to support my argument. Too bad Rene and Angela couldn't co-exist professionally and personally. Its a shame really.
Clarence Moore American Bandstand was first 1952 Soul train was the black American Bandstand started in Chicago 1970 channel 26 moved to California 1971 Channel 9 Chicago
They produced Janet Jackson's debut album in 1982. She thanked them at her Rock N Roll Of Fame ceremony and she invited Angela Winbush to it.
Listen no they didn't little buddy you're not being honest about it
Listen no they didn't little buddy you're not being honest right now
They don't make Music like this anymore! This was and still is the Jam!!!

They never had clubs in the 80's you've got it confused with the 1970's little buddy but I understand why you would forget.
Angela Winbush is a very talented writer and producer too!! Girl power yes!! Wink xo
This Duo Is Pure Magic Gold.
Can’t get a enough of this song
that electronic club shit in the 80s was straight fire.
This version is better than the studio track. Those drums are badass! Especially the snare!
That is the studio track. They are definitely lip syncing.
Listening to this song all these decades and yet it's still bad ass sounding!
This song didn't come out two decades ago it the song was made in 2002 lol it's ok we all forget things every now and then.
@@A1NYCBKLYNGIRL-tc5ot My memory is just fine, it's your knowledge that's a bit fuzzy... This song debuted in 1985, kiddo.

The mega top 80s classic
You mean the mega top 2002 song because it was created back in the early 2000's
Awesome duo!! Love em!
Super! Superb bassline

Her voice is untouched. A cutie. So beautiful what I just read about her. Sounds like a sweet lady.

An excellent song
Great minimoog reference. It carries this gem with great authority.
“ fell in love so quick I knew that this was it”
Ill Be GOOD Good good
@catboyzee123 Well has been acknowledge that Rene was the producer and Angela the principal vocalist.
Hellyeah .. hit the damn cocaine and let’s get this thang lit
No doubt about it, they were pretty good far above the pop/rock production of this period
Super!👍💝

Yep she said it on Unsung. He would throw stuff. Heartbreaking. Gosh. The chemistry was insane. What happened.
Angela stated on "Unsung" he was constantly beating on her.
I feel like driving ferrari playing this song at night
ironically in the video for this song , Angela drove a Ferrari
You have to be able to afford a Ferrari to drive one not many people can own one
One up on Don Cornelius and Soul Train. Dick Clark got Rene & Angela on Bandstand. Shocking they didn’t do this song on Soul Train.
As a fan of most music genres of the 1980's. This has always been a helluva groove.
Wow. I never knew that they did AB back in the day. Pretty impressive.
Pretty much everyone did AB 🔥

the show was A soul train rip off. lip syncing at it's best back then
Not sure what you mean by that...American Bandstand was around before Soul Train.

Clarence Moore Soul Train wasn’t always a lip sync show, either.
