Hi Andy. Love it! As a non-farmer I am still amazed how that machine picks, shucks, and removes kernels. I hope you continue to get a great harvest. Best of luck to ya!
Windrows have always been a problem for farmers with modern machinery. Back in the horse pulling days they were handy for dumping off rocks or catching a bit of shade. Many have suggested windrows help conserve moisture & lessen soil wind erosion as well. Out on the prairies windrows are even more helpful, but usually farther apart than the eastern regions of Canada. I personally farmed in the Peace River Region(s) of Northern Alberta, Canada. Grain , oilseed, fescue seed, cattle, hogs. We also cleared land, turning forests into parable farm land. That's how many windrows were created. Glad your early morning spill didn't result in any serious injuries, Grump. Would have made a great video however. Lol. Stay safe, & good luck finishing off this year's harvest.

Hey grumpy, love ur videos ,like to see Barb running the combind, maybe you could operate the wagon, and slipseat to the truck, give her a little break lol!
Since you're working with the seed company research plots, do they give you their farming "inputs recipe" (mechanical, chemicals, timing, soils) for each variety sold? Otherwise seed buyers are guessing at what the seed company adapted the seed to (say they irrigate and buyers don't, clay vs sand soil) and gamble on output or spend time fiddling with a shotgun home test plot evaluation.
Great yields! My dad used to sell King Grain (which was based in Ontario Canada) in SE Michigan. He had a favorite early variety...90 day..which we planted a lot of. We called Pioneer "prineer". Pretty near as good as King Grain 😁
Use your phone stopwatch and compare Combine-fill cycle to that transfer time loading the wagon to truck and the truck to bin endpoints. What can speed up the endpoints to give more road travel time? After that look into one driver fast hitching trailers or two drivers with pickups and fifth wheel trailers as the next step unless a second grain truck is cheaper.

I used to have an airplane fixing business next to a corn dryer building. One year I saw smoke coming from the roof as the process was underway and no workmen were around. I notified the owner to get the fire trucks rolling. The 2/4" wood structure that the corrugated metal was attached to, lit off in the area where the propane flame came in.
