Not saying it’s not possible in the lethal but that game specifically was extremely calm, my average solo lethal run with heavy is around 700 kills, 50k range damage and 13-16 extremis and a terminus.
Bro that capture point section was so fast I swear when I'm playing solo it makes me do EVERYTHING i gotta go to both sides destroy all the spores and fight a neurothrope 😭 op 1 I always gotta defend every generator and restart at the console and fight 2 zoanthropes. This is a dream run here for me gg bro
Personally I really enjoy playing the sniper class in this game. Those las fusil headshots can win games. Definitely going to be going bulwark after seeing this. The game looks so great when it's played well. Good job man!
bulwark by itself isn't the real reason people push trough the hardest difficulties, he can make good crowd control and its staggers on melee are valuable, but being the apothecary of the game he has a role no one can replicate, that's why he is the "Invigorating icon" class
I think most people have issues because they want to bulwark to be a dps when it’s not. You can still do good damage but you have to play aggressive and use the entire kit. That being said I’d still be okay with a buff 😅
I dread when someone else picks Bulwark, because majority of the time they're not gonna play properly on Lethal. I'm a Assault and Bulwark main, but when I play Lethal I wanna bring my Bulwark because I know when to use my banner. Too many times I've had Bulwarks either not have the contested health talent, or use the banner selfishly or barely at all.
While the big sawrm in the Boss room I was screaming drop the melter and kill like 5-6 majoris and 50 Minoris. But saving it for next game was also a good call. ;)
Am I the only one who goes down cause that stupid shock grenade? Maybe it’s a bug? But every now and then when it drops my shield and health get blasted
Yes, it does. I was a tactical main, and whenever I or someone else didn't play Bulwark, we all died extremely fast. I'm now a Bulwark main and I am a steamrolling lethal.
People say 4.0 was bad myself and a friend and a random did it, and honestly, people got mad about something small. I honestly think it was the dodge that made it bad 6h to complete all 7 missions. I was the bulwark. My friend was heavy, and the random was the Assault. Honestly, after 3 missions we got used to it. If they were together, they got the bonus I was the one who had to go in to get Ago and my friend goes in after I block the damage and he does the dps and the Assault go behind them killing 1 major or 2 (most of the time 2) but he Flys away quickly or get out of there ASAP because he can't take the damage. Me and my friend can. In patch 4.0 I learned something I didn't know i could do as Bulwark and that Lethal difficulty taught me to only have 1 stem no longer 2. I also learned that no other player i have seen that play like me as bulwark. They are very scary to put down the banner or even help the team where it need the most. I have seen so many players die as bulwark for literally no reason. The Devs answer to the players like myself and they nerf it due to players who can't play the game. If you hate 4.0 then you're not good end of story. I got my helmet in 4.0 and now it's pointless due to being easy af.
Cry more sweaty hands. The fact is tethering you together in this game was one of the dumbest ideas anybody had so far. It'd be one thing if you were more powerful and had benefits to playing like that but there actively isn't.
@CommanderLongJohn Point is to give Lethal to players who need a challenge. When Ruthless was the only high difficulty, players were speedy running it to get it done, and it felt too easy. So the Devs had to make a new difficulty for players who only done Ruthless. Lethal was an upgrade to Ruthless, the player who played Sub or Ruthless. If they wasn't ready to play Lethal, then they don't have to. Go by the Dves, not my words. "We don't want players to feel upset or made about our difficulty if they want to hop in to our game and play A game or sub they can, if they really want a challenge then you got Ruthless." Now it's been how many day's and players who done Ruthless beg and beg for something Harder and guess what players like you get on during a big bug during 4.0 where dodge was broke bad where you go short then normal and that is why it was bad but again players was so bad at the game where they need to buff a lot of things. So go cry to someone else who doesn't understand the game. PvE side is where I know my shit and it's sad.
@@CommanderLongJohn The whole point was that it WAS a handicap. Lethal is a cakewalk now . Was more fun when you had a power fantasy option and a challenge option. Now it’s all just the power fantasy with nothing for the folks who like a challenge.
@WhiteJacob007 The people complaining like this are a small minority of the playerbase. This isn't (and was never) supposed to be some tedious Dark Souls-Elden Ring experience. If people really want a challenge, nothing's stopped them from using other bolters/melee weapons they don't use, mixing up perks they don't use etc. Lethal isn't a "cakewalk" for most people, and the tethering mechanic as they implemented it is what made it so monstrously stupid. I even admitted, if they gave you benefits for that-like extra melee/bolter damage or quicker ability recharge-it would make it a lot better and logical, but as it stood it was literally just tying one hand behind your back if you were anything but a Heavy/Assault/Bulwark, and actively goes against the literal playstyle of the game. It's nobodys fault that this small % of the playerbase grinded +100 hours in the game within the first two weeks, understandably so I can say but still, nobody's fault they meticulously perfected every mechanic, and have played through the operations dozens of times at this point. When you do that, yeah, it's going to feel incredibly "easy." But as the devs and many others have said, this is a video game, not a job you should be dedicating dozens of hours a week to. I think I've played maybe 56-57hrs, I maxed out one class (Vanguard), my second highest is a 14 Bulwark and the rest are all Lvl 1-2. I still haven't played one of the chaos operations (because they suck to fight most of the time), and still haven't beat the campaign. I've played a good chunk of Eternal War too, and with that kind of delayed gratification I'll be just fine with the drip feed of content, though I will say horde mode 100% should've been a vanilla feature or at least in S1, that mode alone would/will add an absolute ass load of replayability. And I will also say, there needs to be more melee weapons and secondary bolter options for all classes.
@scuchtern4849 Literally nothing you say will negate the fact "tethering" was the dumbest idea they could've possibly implemented to make it "harder." All they really needed to do was up the enemy count/waves and damage done to you, and maybe add some other kind of modifiers, rather than something that goes totally against the grain of the core playstyle.
I had a Bulwark on a Lethal run last night, they used the banner twice in the entire run... It was so frustrating. I was on my Assault because this player had Bulwark, I was worried as usual, because I'm a Bulwark main and known how to play it. Not to mention, they were hogging all the stim kits. I was never above 30% hp on my Assault during the run, luckily I had a guardian relic just in case. Good thing is about being below 30% makes my head shots and gunstrikes very powerful. But still, I had no margin for error. Worst Bulwark I've had in a long time. They finished with only 150 kills, and barely above 3k dmg for both melee and range. While my Assault and the Tactical had 500+ kills and 18k + damage
Sometimes it hard to help your teammates when they keep spamming the execution button before you’re even able to get close enough to help them heal with the flag. In my experience it almost never works out unless I’m in a party chat with them.
“God Tier”? I’ll have to respectfully disagree. Multi Melta heavy, Grenade Launcher Tactical or Melta Vanguard are S Tier. Bulwarks melee weapons do trash damage. Every match playing as Bulwark I usually do twice as much damage with my Plasma Pistol compared to my trash melee weapons. And that’s staying in the melee scrum most of the match. Power Fist is utter garbage compared to “heavy” single target weapons like the Melta and Multi Melta. I’m 10 times more likely to land a parry, and can parry infinitely easier, USING THE SAME EXACT CHAINSWORD, on my Tactical because of bullshit hidden parry values that are TRaSH tier for the Bulwark. Let’s not mention Vanguards +50% parry Perk, something that should be default for the Bulwark. While the Bulwark is okay and can do well, the damage output and parry potential on this lackluster class need extreme buffs to get Bulwark melee on par with Ranged class melee potential. The Power Fist is possibly the worst weapon in game. Power Fist is the multi Melta of melee and yet a strong/charged attack with the PF can’t even outright kill a single Gaunt or Tzangor. Lack of additional poise, lack of additional interrupt and lack of additional stagger versus ALL enemies, and the laughable lack of armor pen on the Fist is disgusting. These videos aren’t helping make the game better and aren’t helping get the class on par with S Tier builds.

Main thing in lethal and solo lethal to gain the mark is completing the mission. Not kill em all just finishing quickly as possible.
