I like this a lot. An enemy that forces you to engage a bit differently. Plus if this is the only way spores spawn now, that should solve the issue with occasional spore literally spawning on top of people. Rare but I've seen it happen. Could be map specific like you said.
There's been cases of them popping up out of thin air near the servo skull/data collection area while you defend the generators, always annoying when you're mowing down Gaunt units
Hey Yeertski, friendly FYI! "Majoris" is pronounced like the first word in "Majora's Mask." 40k is cathedrals in space, so High Gothic is made to sound like Catholic Latin, where emphasis is mostly on the second-to-last syllable (with some exceptions). a•DEP•tus as•TART•es AS•tra mi•li•TA•rum de•part•MEN•to mu•ni•TO•rum o•FI•cio a•ssa•ssi•NOR•um So also: ma•JO•ris and mi•NOR•is Source: 4ish years of Latin, and sang Latin in choir for years. I genuinely appreciate your comment. As a Spanish speaker I've been able to pronounce high gothic adequately but now I have some rule sets. Ave Imperialis brother
The model is specifically a Biovore, its battlefield role is the Tyranids' medium artillery piece, with relatively light armor for their large size and little melee capacity. They make up for this with their highly accurate and long ranged synapse-guided spore mine cannon.
@Soul-HunterVIII if a single genestealer can solo a terminator if they get the jump on them, normal marines would have a hard time, they could make the genestealer sort of like the lictor, a stealth enemy that jumps the players with a pin attack
Whoever wrote up the design idea for the "Biovore" and it's function sounds like they actually understand game design, and I find no problem with their idea. The implementation is where I see problems arising. Sporemine spawning is all over the place atm, and forcing them to always and only spawn as projectiles from a singular enemy seems like a solid idea. I dont think they should be Terminus, just Extremis. Having one of these spawn at a map edge while theres a lictor, ravener, or zoey harassing you would change the dynamic of the encounter a fair bit. I hope that they are given a minimum range or dead-zone so that the melee classes can dive it on the back line without getting annihilated the second they make a mistake. Also, fuck the disc-goats they should go down in 1 pistol headshot from classes that dont have a primary.
the instigator bolt carbine is my go too no other option weapon for vanguard. hands down the best choice for a class that doesnt struggle at all in melee and should bring ranged damage to a team. the headshot damage is incredible
It is probably just something similar to a chaos sorcerer. The sorcerer's doombolts are essentially the same as spore mines, and it is a ranged extremis that tries to avoid melee combat. I don't think it will have as much support capacities (like respawning majoris) as a sorcerer, because I think they may actually add a neurotyrant later on.
If this is a true enemy/boss leak, it would be cool because there are two enemy types. The Biovore is like a mobile mortar with spore mines, and the Pyovore is a mobile tank with a large cannon which launches toxic gas/stomach fuel at waives of infantry. This would make the team change their strategy based on what form it could take.
It's a tank for the tyrinids basicly like artillery it is capable of shooting spore mines I think but as far as I'm aware I'm watching your video just now just saw the image and recognised it so not sure if this is mentioned It's called a biovore not sure it's scale size but it should be slightly larger than a warrior it might work like a carnifex in melee but with the ability to shoot spore mines ( I'm sorry if this is already said in a video but im just speaking of what I know as I'm typing this video paused as soon as I saw the image )
Zoanthropes are still very annoying. They shoot so often and don’t let you get a single shot in. Also their shield mechanic is so dumb, it switches so often and as soon as you start shooting they target you. Which makes them live way longer than they should.
Spores can quickly end a run and because of that I’ve adjusted my play style to always look for them especially when the enemy wave alarm 🚨 is going off. Bring on the Spore tank, more to kill.
Definitely the new Biovore model that came with the Tyranids range update with 10th edition. The cannon is quite PHALIC. Oh and I am indeed giving Saber ideas. Put the Mutalith Vortex Beast in, Saber. I need more cosmic horrors of Tzeentch!
If they did a Psychophage they’d probably release Librarian next to it. Maybe 🤞I want Venomthropes. Just a parry fest. Each hit does poison build damage. Would be sick and give the melee build a special enemy.
It would be kind of cool if it's for a new mission where the objective is to take out a tyranid artillery battery of these guys and they're periodically firing artillery that you need to dodge while you're moving through the level towards them. Also dealing with zoanthropes solo is still a nightmare compared to all the other extremis enemies. I tried soloing Inferno on ruthless as a Tactical the other day and every time they came up they'd eat nearly all of my ammo and would take forever to kill.
Pyro- or biovore... The size of carnifex... Ouchie. Would be great to have the new enemies in single player too. Also.... why the hate for the sporemines? They're fun red barrels to use against the enemies.
My issue is they can literally spawn out of nowhere right on top of you or nearby. They should spawn out of bounds n come into the map. Its BS so many flawless runs are ruined cuz 20 sporemines magically appear next to your team. Then killing everyone in seconds.
That's no Psychphage. Definitely a Bio/Pyrovore. Meh not scary for melee imo. Anyone who's played tabletop know spore mines don't require a Biovore to be present in game. No need to change Spores at all.
I want a new terminus for tyranids to either be the mawloc or harpy, maybe toxicrene, but new leaked bioform is lookin like a biovore the tyranids living artillery or the pyrovore to diswaid us from getting to close.
For a new level of the sworm, it'd be neat to see the biovore, which on the tabletop is a walking medium-cannon platform. As for a new enemy as a boss in ops, I'd love to see a hauraspex. It's a giant tank of a bug that shovels it's pray into its giant its mouth.
They are way smaller than you are thinking... smaller than carnifex, bigger than a lictor. Nowhere near the size of a bio-titan, not boss material at all just shooty cannon-nid.
That’s a biovoro made of orc DNA they are the size of a tank they are used as an artillery weapon as it shoot orc spore at it’s enemies from range ak a enemy artillery piece slash sniper
Dude id rather the spores originate from an enemy I can kill instead of them leaking in all over and being completely enveloped in them before you know it.
This enemy listed in the game files under Extremis and it is half the size of Carnifex
Size doesn't mean stronger.
If they ever added the Deathleaper, it would be a extremis.
The Biovore primary weapon is Spore Mines, imagine if they show up and just start unloading spore mines everywhere. Hahaha
Biovore pog
I hope to see a hive guardian, it would be a crime not have a fight between space marines and a tyranid space marine
Biovore more along the size of a carnifex maybe smaller, not a bio titan.
I like this a lot. An enemy that forces you to engage a bit differently. Plus if this is the only way spores spawn now, that should solve the issue with occasional spore literally spawning on top of people. Rare but I've seen it happen.

A parasite of Mortrex would be terrifying
That thing would be a Ravenor on crack, lol
Parasite would be so sick, but with the absence of Rippers in Ops I don't think it'd be as cool as it could be
dude you need to get into 40k properly, so many of these videos are "here's this new thing but I don't get it.... (continues reading) oh ok"
Bro imagine they bring the orks back. That would be insane
Been dreaming of this but sadly I doubt it
I suspect we'll see a swarm lord someday. FYI, the swarm lord makes the hive tyrant look like a carnifex
Sweet
I instead see a possible Biovore or Pyrovore being an Extremis level enemy intead of Majoris or Terminus.

The Scarabs in Halo are also living beings. They are the same as the armored hunters that fire green energy
Biovore/Pyrovore incoming :D
The model is specifically a Biovore, its battlefield role is the Tyranids' medium artillery piece, with relatively light armor for their large size and little melee capacity. They make up for this with their highly accurate and long ranged synapse-guided spore mine cannon.
The burst fire rifle for vanguard is awesome
I still love using the scope for the oculus I forgot about the instigator. Wish the sniper had access to it as well
We need Geanstealers in this game to spice it up😅
Your "ally" player grows an extra arm
I imagine genestealers will be added as majoris units in an op based inside the Avarax hive city. Gene cult activity is implied in the data logs.
if we get stealers we need terminators
Terminators are needed for Genestealers because of the Patriarch, and the sheer number of them.
@Soul-HunterVIII if a single genestealer can solo a terminator if they get the jump on them, normal marines would have a hard time, they could make the genestealer sort of like the lictor, a stealth enemy that jumps the players with a pin attack
its around carnifex size as a model, a bit smaller

Tier list would be cool. Worst enemies, worst to best weapons etc…
Damn you I was just about to sign off then I saw your TITLE!!!
@@warriorfire8103 Thanks for watching lol!

Damn, kinda hoped it was a Pyrovore but the Biovore's a good add in too
Zoanthropes are still very annoying. They shoot so often and don’t let you get a single shot in. Also their shield mechanic is so dumb, it switches so often and as soon as you start shooting they target you. Which makes them live way longer than they should.
we need vengeance launcher immediately
A carnifex with a big ass cannon ? Oh this should be reeeally fun to deal with
Always down for new enemies to fight, biovores could be a really cool addition we'll just have to wait and see how they're implemented
Spores can quickly end a run and because of that I’ve adjusted my play style to always look for them especially when the enemy wave alarm 🚨 is going off. Bring on the Spore tank, more to kill.

A Neurotyrant is exactly what it sounds like. It's a Tyranid leader beast like a Hive Tyrant mixed with a neurothrope
It would be kind of cool if it's for a new mission where the objective is to take out a tyranid artillery battery of these guys and they're periodically firing artillery that you need to dodge while you're moving through the level towards them.

@@michaelhuie5878 I've never had this issue, hence didn't really know. :) Thanks
Funny u mentioned it but the halo walker (the scarab) is alive
Focus: You guys hate spore mines? Well here's an enemy that infinitely spawns them.
i thunk its gonna be something like a carnifex just ranged, the spore mines idea is cool but it sounds quite unlikely
I hope we get a necron enemy’s or nurgle followers in a hive city depths
That's no Psychphage. Definitely a Bio/Pyrovore. Meh not scary for melee imo. Anyone who's played tabletop know spore mines don't require a Biovore to be present in game. No need to change Spores at all.
A Tyranid Screamer Killer would spice up the game ;)
Screamer Killer would be cool.
Dang thought we would get a different faction of enemies
I like the idea of a Biovore.
It would be amazing if we got to fight the Norn Emissary
its a biovore/pyrovore, its basically a nid with a big biological cannon on its back
As I said on the thread...fuck....this....shit lol. A SPORE FACTORY!?!?!?
I love tyranide coop maps. I really find the one's with the demons boring. I do love the flying disk enemy.. that one is pretty cool
I want a new terminus for tyranids to either be the mawloc or harpy, maybe toxicrene, but new leaked bioform is lookin like a biovore the tyranids living artillery or the pyrovore to diswaid us from getting to close.
I just want the Devs to allow me to square up with a Hive Tyrant that isn't wounded AF please (I will probably, highly and very likely get shit on)
Man I just want them to give us a necron or ork map
For a new level of the sworm, it'd be neat to see the biovore, which on the tabletop is a walking medium-cannon platform. As for a new enemy as a boss in ops, I'd love to see a hauraspex. It's a giant tank of a bug that shovels it's pray into its giant its mouth.

Its gonna be a gargantuan Bio-Titan. No biggy. And some Zoanoids.
Great the furking Biovore, let us preppere for miniboss like Carnifex/Neurothrope yeating spore mines left and right
Oh the Biovore.... Y'all wanna know what their primary weapon is? They disperse Spore Mines. LMAO
Y'all gonna love this
That's a Biovore they shoot spore mines.
In my opinion tyranids are just way more fun to fight then the word bearers.

I want a Swarm Lord
we are getting all these new things but not a class
Where are the genestealers?

Still waiting for a new thousand sons boss
