Why do my hawkeye struggle so much Playing non conference Pac 12 teams on the road? Been my whole life that way. The Arizona State game in 04 was the worst. I don't think the current coaching staff will schedule anymore out there.
I wrote an article about this. It's not as bad as it seems, but I think there are time zone impacts plus weather differences that can be a factor. For this game, we played at Penn State the week before in Pennsylvania, then went to Oregon the next week. Lots of flight travel. @@pedrogudino1133 you are right pedro. I was there.. all they did during the practice week was fudgepackin and they didn't even stop on the flight to the game. They tried to do fudgepackin on the Ducks, but the Ducks said no thanks.
