I know the reception is bad but I would’ve spent every dollar I could on Cell Boosters, just so the video quality of your WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS didn’t look like it was from 2003
And they expect people to pay for it.

It's hard to grasp how good pros are when they are shredding, you either have to see it in person or just be super familiar with a course like we are with New London. I've seen Simon and KT in person when they are shredding and it's insane how good they are

After watching so many Foundation videos its neat seeing the pros play on a course I've seen in videos dozens of times.

fix your camera quality! its embarrassing as the primary broadcaster of this sport.
Cameras are fine, Jomez are part of the live camera crew and they pull their post produced videos dicrectly from those same shots, but with full quality saved to cameras. Issue with broadcast is the weak mobile network signal.

The live coverage yesterday was embarrassing and I'm not talking about reception... They stopped showing the lead card minus Issac after 4 holes... It wasn't like they were all 10 over par. All the coverage was chase card, Dickerson, and Isaac. All the lead card guys ended up having decent rounds; wish we could've seen it. So bad

@@glendurrant3988There will be a normal Jomez post production. EO and USDGC are paywalled because those two events and so broadcast rights for those are not owned by PDGA or DGPT.

I wish we could just get rid of the jump-putts, or allow full on superman putts; the current system where many people are consistently breaking a rule but not getting called on it because there's no one monitoring it.
The least you could do, as a DGPT-channel, is not put the rules violations into the god damn highlights and normalize the BS. I remember Feldberg talking probably a decade ago about how pro players foot fault constantly, and it being bad for the sport to have pictures of pro players clearly foot faulting... yet we still haven't got that crap fixed. :(

AB and Isaac tied but the coverage and the thumbnail seemed to favor AB. Why you hating?
You have to remember they don't know the score until the end of the round. It seemed like Barela was shooting hotter in the middle of the round, which is why they showed more of his shots. And you have to put one of them on the thumbnail, sooo 🤷

I do not think it's fair that Paul designed the course. Especially for Worlds..... you can't say it doesn't cater to his game. Anyone who doesn't think there is a conflict of interest, is literally delusional. Several pros have made comments. Totally shady.
lots of players design and have designed courses. the course was also modified after he designed it
Hey we "invented" a "new" disc-throwing sport, even though they had Discus in the Olympics in Ancient Greece. We needed rules for our "sport", but we were too stupid, so we literally copied word for word all the terminology and rules of another sport, Golf. We don't play Disc, we're Golfers. Fore! We want to "grow the game" and be taken seriously. But for MPO the difficulty is so easy that a birdie is par. And FPO was eliminated and is now "mixed".
Course design is such that only a few hundred spectators can really see anything, if that. Trying to see a flying disc on DGN resolution could be an eye exam.
The entire culture and production of the pro tour has an air of seriousness. There is zero effort put into the inclusion of anything that could be considered "entertainment". No big music to pump up the fans for a big drive...these are "serious" athletes and the noise would throw off their concentration. To the DGPT, the entertainment is the quality of the shots being thrown. To the general public there is nothing impressive about throwing a frisbee.

Simon Lizotte = 205k subs
More people want to watch one guy's practice rounds than so-called professional competition. It's because Simon provides entertainment value and does not take himself too seriously.
