Sorry I know this is 8 yrs old now but seeing this just reminds me how I never understood why he doesn’t get more props. Disposable Arts was so damn good and one of the first two albums I actually owned (other being 2pac’s All Eyez on Me) and was a big part of my pre/early teens.
Ali came with the aggression and energy, RA was sick with the multis and wordplay but Ace's verse just stood out to me. After all these years the guys is just a damn Legend. The way he strung together every word in that verse has such dope cadence and mic presence he didn't need to rap it fast or use a complex rhyme scheme hit it out of the park. It was just flat out dope but purely fundamental.

It blows my mind that I work with a diverse group of men, one is a local musician in Cleveland (rap/,hip-hop) and he has never heard of R.A. or any of the REAL hip/hop legends I mention to them. I love good music man. I mainly listen to hard-core or death metal- yes hold up- these genres are misunderstood, its more than screaming breakdowns. A long story short- people that listen to that- just love music in general. Im 36 now but remember when bone thugs took the world by storm- and it lead me to the real underground artist. It blows my mind that I work with a diverse group of men, one is a local musician in Cleveland (rap/,hip-hop) and he has never heard of R.A. or any of the REAL hip/hop legends I mention to them. I love good music man. I mainly listen to hard-core or death metal- yes hold up- these genres are misunderstood, its more than screaming breakdowns. A long story short- people that listen to that- just love music in general. Im 36 now but remember when bone thugs took the world by storm- and it lead me to the real underground artist. I just never understood how people who only listen to rap- listen to mainstream shit and claim j-cole or Lil Wayne are the GOATS.
