Thank you for sharing. 👍 The form footage is is not any XIn Jia, this is old style 一路, most traditional old form, which he just learned in Beijing from his uncles (Chen Fa Ke disciples.) . There is nothing like Xin Jia/Lao Jia in Chen style, although Chen Jia Gou people often say it. 😉

È evidente che sia la prima del M° Xiao Wang che quella del mio maestro Yang Lin Sheng attingono ad una fonte comune pur essendosi differenziate molto nell'ultimo secolo, nel senso dell'estrinsecazione di movimenti qui impliciti o del tutto inespressi che la nostra discendenza ha portato alla loro massima espressione artistica marziale e creativa. Massimo rispetto per il maestro Chen. 🙏
La stessa cosa posso dire anche io rapportando questa esecuzione a quella del Maestro Mahong. Hai sintetizzato il tutto, Marco, in maniera molto chiara: "estrinsecazione di movimenti qui impliciti o del tutto inespressi che la nostra discendenza ha portato alla loro massima espressione artistica marziale e creativa". Chen Xiaowang rimane comunque un grande testimone della sua famiglia ed avendolo conosciuto in quegli anni, e poi mai più rivisto, ne ho un ottimo ricordo :)

Being there in person, things were very different from what was read in the West, especially the countryside. In this case the real murderer of tradition was not the PRC, but tourism🙁
@@DanteBasili I agree. There was also much more variation and individual expression from teacher to teacher. Standardization happened due to many reasons. Pedagogy was only a small part of it. Marketing, politics, Confucianism, cultural shifts, and other factors all played a part. I think some of it was simply due to popularization. The number of beginners increased faster than an individual's skill could improve. So, there is a higher percentage of beginners doing standardized basics, and a smaller percentage of creative masters, even though the overall numbers of both may have increased.
