This is a great painting. Especially having seen the photo you started with. My first rection to the photo was ehh ... not very interesting. I could never have imagined how much analysis went into the final work. I've learned so much from you explaining your process and will approach landscapes differently.

Those images are from Tucson, AZ. i take many painting trips around the country looking for painting material. The back roads are the most picturesque.
