Either FSM's blood was distributed evenly between his sons, so one got Oni & human blood and the other got Dragon & human. Or, similarly to his father, Wu doesn't like his Oni side or simply dislikes referring himself as one

(By that I mean change in mindset, evil thoughts, evil wishes, etc.) Buuuut I think that besides having the Devourer's Venom, he had Oni blood in him by birth. I mean, think of Mistake. She was an Oni but not really evil. So I believe that with The Great Devourer's venom that changed his mindset, and the Oni blood that changes his physical form & power, we have this monster thingy.
