The house is so artistic and Architecturally sophisticated, it’s beautiful and the shapes throughout are so elegant. Personally for someone that gets tiered from patterns and colors very fast and needs a constant change this is the perfect solution, never gets old. Besides they chose this is what they wanted we can just appreciate different styles that people choose

After Kim's traumatic experience in France it makes sense that she would want minimalism but spacious as well. It's all about mental health and as long as she feels safe in her home and it brings her family peace and comfort it's all that matters. We all have our definition of cozy and serenity ☺️

i cant believe there are so many people who believe the whole point of a floor is to damage it or get it dirty when it's the exact opposite, the floor should be one of the cleanest places in the house.
Tell that to everyone with an expensive wood floor who cares about markings on it unlike people with cheap wood floors who do not care about markings and end up having destroyed floors but they do not care. If you are honest with yourself, nobody can keep a carpet clean or undamaged and yet people use carpets and nobody uses words like defeats the point of a floor. A lot of people do not want visitors to enter with their shoes on. There are whole cultures where it is standard not to enter with your shoes on.

I love the minimalist "after" style! Especially that bathroom and the long gally kitchen. I like concrete and earthen plasters and finishes. I like smooth seamless surfaces, soothing on the eyes and so much easier to clean!
She has to fly in specialist from Europe to fix the floors and the walls are so light, every parents night mare so IDK how this would be easier to keep clean lol

My feeling before understanding Kim and Kanye's desire for a minimalist home was that it was boring. After seeing it with different eyes and a new perspective, I understand that both of them being mega stars and being surrounded by so many people and so much sensory overload in their work, I can see how coming home to such a minimalistic home can feel soothing to their senses. While it is not my aesthetic, I understand why they went with it. I actually love the home and decor in its "before" state. The new pool is gorgeous though!

I would have loved to see something in-between. I like the minimalist look, but when too minimalist looks cold and undone. I would have liked to see some personal pieces of art on the walls, fresh flowers, indoor potted trees and some area rugs.

In contrast, the decoration to minimalist does not limit the kids by taking up space with more furniture. Staircase is entirely closed and much safer. Honestly I prefer it before renovations as it was beautiful, warm and not cluttered anyway and still would have been child-friendly.
You are free to create a house for your kids in which they can make everything dirty and leave their toys everywhere and all the toilets and sinks are the right height for kids, the door handles are at the height for kids, the tv programs are just for kids, and so on and on. Totally agree. Not a fan of the Kardashian at all, thanks for Kanye to gave life to this. I’m not a fan of his music either but one or too are ok. Not a fan of the persons they both are. But Kanye has got a pretty good taste in interior design, I have to gave him that. His headquarter for his brand is stunning too, and same for his New York condo. Beforehand I didn’t like beige or greige at all, but with what he did, I reconsidered and even if I don’t like everything in this house, I do have to respect his version of minimalism. As for her, she said she didn’t get involved at all in the decoration of this house and didn’t know anything about furniture before, so I won’t get any recommendation made from her in this area or anything else for that matter.
It does! Peaceful, quite, CLEAN. Like I hate all the trinkets and ‘stuff’ that people just LITTER their homes with. All it does is gather dust and it gets in the way. Monochromatic earth tones and colors, glass walls and space is al the decor you need. Looks fabulous
They got a hallway that half the time you can’t walk on, they have a kitchen and a pool they don’t use, and most interior is not to touch, as if it’s an actual museum, rather than a home. Whatever makes them happy though
I love country homes but I actually way more liked their renovation, to my surprise. It feels like a japanese garden, so calming, focused and reenergising.
I like it so much more after the renovation! I love minimalist interiors a lot. And I can understand why they would change a house like that. They are famous and are constantly surrounded by glamour and over-the-top everything, both have probably lived in houses similar to this one before renovation, so I’m not surprised that they decided to got for minimalist and “bare” look. Personally I’d feel a lot more relaxed in a house like this rather than in pre-renovation version
I liked the house before. They stripped life and fun out of it and the floors aren't practical if they can't be cleaned easily. Minimalist also means scaling down, not having empty characterless places and things requiring high maintenance that one hardly uses. All to ensure maximum cash flow usage perhaps?
Honestly, the architecture of the house itself is beautiful. Inside though, they have made the interior so bland, and lifeless. I like some aspects of their house, though. It just doesn’t feel homey, and I can’t imagine how their kids feel.

Apparently Kim is going to redo her house after divorce as she never liked it after renovations. The sources say she felt it was bare and like a museum. I must applaud her for being submissive because the renovations, interior minimalist decor was all Kanye's idea. From her side she felt that there was too much waste of money with rebuilding and now-and-again changes in all those six years it took. But the good news is that it is worth more than double its original value as cold and bare as it is😅.

I love the after… calm and minimalist. I would have chosen to leave the beams and chosen a wooden floor to match said beams. The greenery in the bathroom was absolutely spectacular! Not a fan of the sinks though.

I understand and appreciate the idea. The house before looked more like “home” and cosier. The home now is too plain, perfect as a chalet, or for photoshoots, weekends, museum or gallery but not your full time home.

I absolutely LOVED the house as it was Before! The only thing I would have changed was the wood beams on the ceiling. But to each is to its own.
I think their house looks so elegant, neutral and cold but still spreads so much warmness. It’s just so impressive.
They desighned it specially for avant garde style and photography...it looks great when photographed
More money than brains. Stripped everything out of the house that was warm and inviting and replaced it with very expensive materials that made it look cold and lifeless.

My feeling before understanding Kim and Kanye's desire for a minimalist home was that it was boring. After seeing it with different eyes and a new perspective, I understand that both of them being mega stars and being surrounded by so many people and so much sensory overload in their work, I can see how coming home to such a minimalistic home can feel soothing to their senses. While it is not my aesthetic, I understand why they went with it. I actually love the home and decor in its "before" state. The new pool is gorgeous though!

I like the before as well as the after. Each one has its own character however I prefer living in the updated version of the house cause it gives the vibe of tranquility and I like the monochromatic decor it just gives me the feeling of cleanliness, class and AAhhhhhhh relax
I would have loved to see something in-between. I like the minimalist look, but when too minimalist looks cold and undone. I would have liked to see some personal pieces of art on the walls, fresh flowers, indoor potted trees and some area rugs.

In contrast, the decoration to minimalist does not limit the kids by taking up space with more furniture. Staircase is entirely closed and much safer. Honestly I prefer it before renovations as it was beautiful, warm and not cluttered anyway and still would have been child-friendly.

You are free to create a house for your kids in which they can make everything dirty and leave their toys everywhere and all the toilets and sinks are the right height for kids, the door handles are at the height for kids, the tv programs are just for kids, and so on and on. Every detail within this home is white-monochromatic. Everyone has a distinct personal taste, but Kanye is very domineering. This was his house in the design sense, not hers. Totally agree. Not a fan of the Kardashian at all, thanks for Kanye to gave life to this. I’m not a fan of his music either but one or too are ok. Not a fan of the persons they both are. But Kanye has got a pretty good taste in interior design, I have to gave him that. His headquarter for his brand is stunning too, and same for his New York condo. Beforehand I didn’t like beige or greige at all, but with what he did, I reconsidered and even if I don’t like everything in this house, I do have to respect his version of minimalism. As for her, she said she didn’t get involved at all in the decoration of this house and didn’t know anything about furniture before, so I won’t get any recommendation made from her in this area or anything else for that matter.

They got a hallway that half the time you can’t walk on, they have a kitchen and a pool they don’t use, and most interior is not to touch, as if it’s an actual museum, rather than a home. Whatever makes them happy though
I love country homes but I actually way more liked their renovation, to my surprise. It feels like a japanese garden, so calming, focused and reenergising.
I like it so much more after the renovation! I love minimalist interiors a lot.
And I can understand why they would change a house like that. They are famous and are constantly surrounded by glamour and over-the-top everything, both have probably lived in houses similar to this one before renovation, so I’m not surprised that they decided to got for minimalist and “bare” look.
Personally I’d feel a lot more relaxed in a house like this rather than in pre-renovation version
I liked the house before. They stripped life and fun out of it and the floors aren't practical if they can't be cleaned easily. Minimalist also means scaling down, not having empty characterless places and things requiring high maintenance that one hardly uses. All to ensure maximum cash flow usage perhaps?

Apparently Kim is going to redo her house after divorce as she never liked it after renovations. The sources say she felt it was bare and like a museum. I must applaud her for being submissive because the renovations, interior minimalist decor was all Kanye's idea. From her side she felt that there was too much waste of money with rebuilding and now-and-again changes in all those six years it took. But the good news is that it is worth more than double its original value as cold and bare as it is😅.
