Fates - Simulating a Monome grid with any tablet

Connect Fates to wifi.
Install oscgrid through SSH( see video on SSH and updating manually)
Move into the code folder where scripts are typically held with cd dust/code.
Install with git clone github.com/oky....
Move into the tutorial folder with cd tutorial.
On an Android or apple mobile/tablet download TouchOsc apps.apple.com...
Download the TouchOsc file from github.com/oky...
In TouchOsc change IP and port.
IP whatever you have in norns, ports are 10111 in 9000 out.
Access maiden( see video on Maiden)
Change IP in load.lua, put the tablets IP, this is so Fates can send feedback to TouchOsc
In Fates run oscgrid/load
Run a script
When you finish run oscgrid/unload

This is fantastic. There is a slightly visual latency on the tablet isn’t there? I wonder if this could be compensated somehow.

nvm i just relized correct me plesse if im wrong cause im teaching myself how to do all of this but i can just run these commands in terminal on my mac correct? no need for putty?
