I’m so stoked to listen to Chargers content today. I spent the weekend arguing back and forth on social media about how Herbert is going to be an MVP candidate under the Harbaugh system. I made a Ravens fan mad by saying the team around Lamar elevated him and allowed him to be MVP 😂. Ravens have the #1 rushing offense over the past 5 years, while Chargers were #26. Ravens had the #3 defense over the last 5 years, Chargers #28. Ravens #5 total offense in that span, while Chargers still at #7. Herbert has the 3rd most passing yards since 2020 behind Mahomes and Josh Allen. Mahomes and Allen both have had a top 10 run game and Defense and constantly make the playoffs. I’m just regurgitating what I hear on Chargers YT, and stuff from Matt Money Smith, but they finally shut up after I hit them with the facts! All we need is a top 15 run game and defense and Herbert goes to Infiniti and beyond!
Q J did get better later on , near the end of the 2023 season & he did draw at least 10 PI flags ? No, he didn't catch those passes , BUT , he still got the yards & 1st downs on those flags .
😂 man I love all the chargers but you fans thinking Palmer is a number one are hilarious. Ladd,QJ and my guess DJ Chark will be more productive or at least as productive. Ppl thinking Palmer hasn't had his chance to prove he's a number one or two with all the injuries to Mike Williams and KA over the last three years just haven't been watching
@@dontnonowuno9953 You must not have seen his 100 yard games and performance against premiere CBs. He most definitely has proven that we should have confidence in him. And no, even with injuries to KA and Williams, he hasn't had a chance to be WR1 with schemes to give him all the WR1 opportunities possible. He's a question mark for sure, but the upside is there and he should be given confidence until he proves he can't handle the spotlight. Until then, we look at the 100 yard games and well-rounded skillset and have faith
Palmer is our X. Your X doesn’t mean you’re the top target or best wr. IE Tyreek is a slot player and WR1. The X has to work with only 8-14 yards of boundary and Palmer can do so better than any other on the roster. BUT… Ladd may be a better overall receiver even though he will be listed as WR2 if he pans out the way he had the potential to do so

im a beliver in lad, but im still gonna say josh palmer should be wr1 last season and the season before he was really the last and only dependable wr after everyone got injured hes proved himself when put in the situation.

I’m a huge Chargers fan. Come on man… all positive bold takes??! Not every player we have questions about JT Woods, Matlock, Spiller etc… is going to have a great training camp. Not one negative bold take? This blank player will not make the team? Let’s be realistic. Not every situation/player is going to workout.
