My parents used to own the camp in the middle of the cove down there. The hole you guys had a whitefish on is roughly where I’ve pulled some big bass through the ice. Used to pull some nice togue out from around where you’re fishing as well before the size got smaller and the fish became more abundant.
Interesting. Did you parents just sell last year? I think our road commissioner used to live near there…. Yes that drop off has great bass during open water, we stop there regularly. There is a rocky ridge that runs along some of where we were that keeps fishing pretty steady.
@@Theoutdoorcats I think they sold it like 3 years ago now? My dad was the treasurer for the road committee when they sold. They still actually live on the lake, just the opposite end now. Used to fish around there pretty hard as a kid between open water and ice.
