Well well well.... Let's see what kind of kick ass people, are down in the comment section, here. ~ I already know... You are my people. You are my tribe. ✌️😉💜💕
I just got a demo copy of this song white cover not for resell on this song. This is on vinyl. I showed this to the band and they responded this is "Very rear and a real Special!!!!" Love the band and how they do talk to the fans. That shows real integrity. Keep rock Boys!
This was a great album and I listened to it as well as Leppards first three all the time. After Pyromania I was fucking done with Leppard. This raw early 80z NWOBHM will always get it done for me. Just excellent stuff.
By 1983 sadly the NWOBHM was being replaced by this Hairspray American style look and sound...unless you went deep underground with the Death/Speed Metal sound of Venom and the likes.
The Scottish Def Leppard! I thought they were going to be huge after seeing them live at the Roxy in Los Angeles. Boy was I wrong. On a positive note, their first two albums are solid.

discovered this song off of VH1 Classic's "Metal Mania" back in around 2003-04 and thought it kicked ass, for some reason they sound like a combination of Def Leppard and Van Halen.
I seen them live with Saxon and Motley Crue in like 1984 Wichita Kansas what a night I ate a quarter zip of mushrooms driving a 1976 Chevrolet LaGuna S-3 396.
Saw them in Seattle in 1984 opening for Accept and Saxon. It was hard for them to get the crowd involved because the lights were on, people were still trying to find their seats and a group of people walked up to the stage and gave the singer the finger the entire time. Yikes.
An interesting observation. Back in 1983/4 I was in a band that was being tried out by Polydor as they were looking for another Def Leppard. Heavy Pettin were also being looked at by Polydor and as it turned out, they were picked and we were turned down. Though it was a bitter blow back then, it weas clearly the right decision. We had a better singer and guitarist but their songs were a lot stronger and more commercial. C'est la vie!
Great Scottish band, if they had broke in 1980 they might have made it, trying for the eurovision song contest with a shitty ballad destroyed them in the end up!!
