What Are Pressable Defects in Comic Books? Comprehensive list of defects that can be pressed out

This video is all about press-able defects in comic books. We will go over all of the most common defects that can be pressed out and those that can't. We'll also cover tips in finding slabbed comics 9.6 or below that might be candidates for a crack, press, clean, cha-ching! This is a strategy to make money in comics, or to improve your personal collection. Find the books that can improved by a press, have it done by a professional, and re-submit it to CGC for hopefully a higher grade.

Kneaded erasers might also be really good for precision removal of dirt. Malleable, and less tug and stress on the ink and paper.

After watching one of your videos, I realized that I've got a non-color-breaking bend on the back cover of a raw Venom: Lethal Protector #1 newsstand that I pulled out of a dollar bin. Otherwise super-clean, so could possibly land a 9.8 if I get it pressed.

I just bought this as a 9.6 for 675.00. Your 400 was a good price.
I’m going to go look at my books now. To see if I can crack and resubmit any.
Question can I send the book to CGC in the case and let them crack and regraded it?

Well, you could send it to CCs and have them crack and press it and then resubmit to Cgc to grade...that will take about 6-8 months tho. What you’ll want to do is find a presser with a shorter turnaround and then send to Cgc. Look for a stacking crease on the book, common with these and an easy lress
