Hats Off to those sensors!!!! Living out in the rural area, and having to travel many miles to the big city, I tend to have some bad luck with my tires, whether it is just a simple puncture causing a slow leak to having screws and nails penetrating into the tire. But those sensors sure do warn me of low pressure. A lot of times I won’t realize my pressure is low, but the sensors warn me of those low pressures, and mostly in time to get the tire fixed before I have a full flat while driving. And even when cold weather sets in, they let me know how much pressure I need to add to adjust to correct air pressure. My tires are real sensitive to temperature change, especially when it starts getting colder.

I agree Ed. These sensors are life safer because they warn us if our tires are dangerous low in pressure that can lead to accidents.

My 2012 fiat has the same issue. Thanks for showing this. I wished you had talked a little bit about how they work and communicate with the car computer since it's obviously done wirelessly somehow. Was there anything you had to reset with the computer or did they just automatically work and warning light was off? Also does it not effect the tires balance? Should he have rebalanced the tires after installing the new sensors? Thank you

I thought the Fiat 500 was going to recognize the TPMS sensors automatically like my VW Tiguan but when I drove home the light came back on. The sensors had to be activated by my MAXICOMM 808TS OBD2 scanning tool. I don't think it was affecting the balance.

i had the same trouble with my fiat 2014 cpop, got my sensors from amazon already preprogrammed, and the car pair the sensors on its own, for what i know this applies to all the fca cars, i just need to drove for a while until the car did the process on its own, i was very please, since a tire shop tried to charge me 50 to pair each sensor. and i paid like 36 or 39 for 4 tpms sensors

Did you have to reprogram the sensors after the tire store installed them. I read the Fiat 500 or FCA applications do not need programming. Instead, you need to drive for 20 minutes after installation, and they will automatically reprogram. Or does the More brand that you installed still need reprogramming. Thanks.

    Great video EJ 👍
(Are the sensors “self-programming” with regards to their locations on the car? - or does the garage have to use a programmer?).

Thank you very much Stewart. They used the same Autrel MK808TS tool to activate it. When I got home I rechecked them with my Autel MK808TS 😃

Do I need to replace them each time I get new tires?
