The last time I heard him talk backup QBs he was saying great things about them both though, but said they are freshmen and still have a ways to go. I Think Myles will get better once he gets more game experience. He looked like a deer in the headlights the first half, but settled down more as the game went on. He had 345 yards with some bright spots, but it was ugly most of the game. And LSU looked horrible at just about every position at one time or another in that game, from O-line to safety and everything in between.

Miss St offense does look good, but it didn't look like coach Bo was even trying to adapt to it. They played man the whole game when it was obvious after the first quarter that wasn't working. I really hope this is just an outlier on so many levels because there were problems at every position for a good part of the game. The players just didn't looked prepared. And I understand the abnormal preseason, but every team has had to figure this out. Miss St offense is very good though, but I'm not sure how they would do against a top tier defense like last years Georgia team. I guess we'll find out though

They practically did field newborns against experienced players. 2nd and 3rd string LSU vs 1st Of most teams would have the same result. MSU looked good, but not great. LSU also hurt themselves with penalties that kept MSU on the field. MSU also had turnover issues.

Since then every champ has had great RB, QB, and WR talent. Technically the 2015 Bama team might not have had that great of a QB/Passing game either but if feel like the WR talent made up for it. Calm down. Leach did this stuff in the big 12 and Pac12 one week, then get blasted the next. When his offense is working, it's hot. When it's not working, his offense is lack luster and really ineffective. Now he should have more success with SEC recruits on offense but he's also going against SEC recruits on defense.

He will until teams prepare out of byes for miss state with nothing but coverage and zone defense. Then his running backs will be legit no factor.
Calm down. Leach did this stuff in the big 12 and Pac12 one week, then get blasted the next. When his offense is working, it's hot. When it's not working, his offense is lack luster and really ineffective. Now he should have more success with SEC recruits on offense but he's also going against SEC recruits on defense.
All SEC defensive coordinators are seriously reevaluating their programs right now. Mike leach is going to make things interesting and M State fun to watch....I'm gonna miss him on Pac-12 after dark tho

Man, we were NOT prepared! losing 17 starters is gonna be a HUGE hurdle to overcome.
Biggest hurdle is losing the offensive mastermind behind the Offense last year. The starters hurt for sure, but the staff changes were worse.

@Martin McCormick Ensminger brought in that offense and had complete control of what went into the playbook. He also called 80% of the plays; play calling wasn’t the problem it was execution. The “mastermind” is still at the helm.
Just think of this season as a deluxe spring practice season for next year and relax.
As a Georgia fan, I’m not talking trash with our issues and injuries at qb and OL play and our last two against them lol. This was funny though and I thought LSU would play better than that. Hope they improve as the season goes along.
