Miley tried to mimic Joan's style but when I close my eyes I can easily tell when Joan was singing. Joan has the baddest ass rock voice out there, even now. The best thing ever for me lately....is just seeing how genuinely happy Miley is! I mean really it warms my heart. I got to see Joan Jett and the heartbreakers with Heart and Cheap Trick back in ‘16. (Yes my mom and I were freaking out with Joan that concert night!) This performance is just gold with these two, absolutely loved it!❤️❤️❤️

Miley should have been the halftime show, this was more supreme then the weekend. And bringing in icons was a major plus. Joan jett and billy idol did amazing even if Billy's mic was too low

Bc she’s done a lot of damage to her vocal chords from smoking so much and not giving herself breaks. She had vocal chord surgery too from overuse. She talks about it on Joe Rogan. It’s an awesome interview you should check it out. Very insightful look into what’s in her head.

I can barely tell when Joan and Miley switch who is singing! Their voices are so similar but in the best way! One of the most legendary sounds in rock! Both have incredible voices!
